01.070 - Colour coding

This document establishes the technical specifications for compression springs made from rectangular wires. The parameters set in this document are applicable to springs which are set. This document does not attempt to specify the quality of the springs themselves, nor all of their dimensions (e.g. cross-section), their material or their length of life. The springs are classified into spring rates: light, medium, strong and extra strong. For each spring rate, this document gives a colour code.

This document specifies the system of colour coding for flow rate identification of nozzles used on sprayers. It is applicable to hydraulic energy nozzles such as flat and cone nozzles used for the application of crop protection products. This document is not applicable to adjustable nozzles. It allows for flow recognition on small parts in order to avoid any confusion under normal conditions of use.

This document specifies marking codes for fixed inductors.
The colour code specified in Clause 3 gives a colour coding for fixed inductors. It is intended for

ISO 6009:2016 establishes a colour code for the identification of single-use hypodermic needles of designated metric sizein the range of 0,18 mm (34 Gauge) to 3,4 mm (10 Gauge) . It applies to regular-walled, thin-walled, extra-thin-walled and ultra-thin walled needles, and to opaque and translucent colours. It is not applicable to pen-needles.

ISO 22324:2015 provides guidelines for the use of colour codes to inform people at risk as well as first response personnel about danger and to express the severity of a situation. It is applicable to all types of hazard in any location. This International Standard does not cover the method for displaying colour codes, detailed ergonomic considerations related with viewing displays, or safety signs covered by ISO 3864‑1.

This International Standard specifies the system of colour coding for identification of all types of hydraulic
spray nozzles, such as flat and cone nozzles used for the application of crop protection products in agriculture.

This part of ISO 15076 specifies a colour profile format and describes the architecture within which it can operate. This architecture supports the exchange of information which specifies the intended colour image processing of digital data. The required reference colour spaces and the data structures (tags) are also specified.

ISO 14726:2008 specifies main colours and additional colours for identifying piping systems in accordance with the content or function on board ships and marine structures. These colours can also be used for piping systems on drawings and diagrams. ISO 14726:2008 does not apply to piping systems for medical gases, industrial gases and cargo. ISO 14726:2008 can also be used for land installations.

ISO 32:2005 specifies a colour coding system for the secondary method of identification of the contents of industrial and medical gas cylinders with particular reference to the property of the gas or gas mixture. Cylinder labels are the primary method of indicating cylinder contents. ISO 32:2005 does not apply to cylinders containing liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) or to fire extinguishers.
