This part of this European Standard specifies data which is are necessary for the planning, design, bidding, guarantees, construction, start-up and compliance testing of a wastewater treatment plant or parts of it.

1 Anwendungsbereich
Diese Europäische Norm legt allgemeine Grundlagen für die Planung, Ausschreibung, Auslegung, Angebots-erstellung,
Festlegung von Garantiewerten, Errichtung, Inbetriebnahme und Abnahmeprüfung von Kläranlagen
oder Teilen von Kläranlagen fest.
Die Unterschiede in Planung und Bau von Kläranlagen in Europa haben zu einer Vielzahl von Vorgehensweisen
geführt. Diese Europäische Norm enthält grundsätzliche Angaben zu den Vorgehensweisen; sie beschreibt
jedoch nicht alle Einzelheiten jeder Vorgehensweise.
Die in den Literaturhinweisen aufgeführten Unterlagen enthalten Einzelheiten und Hinweise, die im Rahmen
dieser Norm verwendet werden dürfen.

1 Domaine d'application
La présente norme européenne spécifie les données nécessaires pour la planification, la conception, la proposition, les garanties de performance, la construction, la mise en service et le contrôle de conformité d'une station d'épuration des eaux usées ou d'une partie de cette station.
Des différences en matière de traitement des eaux usées résiduaires à travers l'Europe ont conduit au développement de systèmes variés. La présente norme donne les informations de base sur les systèmes et n'a pas eu pour objectif d'essayer de spécifier tous les systèmes disponibles.
Des informations détaillées complémentaires à celles contenues par la présente norme peuvent être obtenues en se reportant à la bibliographie.
