Portable equipment for projecting extinguishing agents supplied by fire fighting pumps - Portable foam equipment - Part 2: Pick-up tubes

1.1   This European Standard specifies performance requirements and test methods for pick-up tubes.
This European Standard applies to pick-up tubes from DN 20 to DN 50 which are used for the suction of foam concentrate or additives and defines their requirements and test procedures.
Pick-up tubes are especially used with inductors in accordance with prEN 16712-1.
NOTE   Pick-up tubes can also be used for the suction of other substances (e.g. absorbents).
1.2   This European Standard is not applicable to pick-up tubes which have been manufactured before its date of publication as European Standard.

1.1   Diese Europäische Norm legt Leistungsanforderungen und Prüfverfahren für Ansaugschläuche fest.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Ansaugschläuche von DN 20 bis DN 50, die zum Ansaugen von Schaummittel oder Zusätzen dienen und legt deren Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren fest.
Ansaugschläuche werden insbesondere mit Zumischern nach prEN 16712-1 verwendet.
ANMERKUNG   Ansaugschläuche können auch zum Ansaugen anderer Stoffe (z. B. Absorbtionsmittel) verwendet werden.
1.2   Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Ansaugschläuche, die vor dem Veröffentlichungsdatum dieser Europäischen Norm hergestellt wurden.

1.1   La présente Norme européenne spécifie les prescriptions de performances et les méthodes d’essais des flexibles d’aspiration.
La présente Norme européenne s’applique aux flexibles d’aspiration de DN 20 à DN 50, utilisés pour l’aspiration d’émulseurs ou d’additifs, et définie leurs prescriptions et les méthodes d’essais correspondantes.
Les flexibles d’aspiration sont particulièrement utilisés en association avec les proportionneurs conformes à l’EN 16712 1.
NOTE   Les flexibles d’aspiration peuvent également être utilisés pour l’aspiration d’autres substances (par exemple : les absorbants).
1.2   La présente Norme européenne ne s'applique pas aux flexibles d’aspiration qui ont été fabriqués avant sa date de publication en tant que Norme européenne.
