EN 54-4:1997

Fire detection and fire alarm systems - Part 4: Power supply equipment

This standard specifies requirements, methods of test and performance criteria for power supply equipment (see component L of figure 1 of EN 54-1:1996) of fire detection and fire alarm systems installed in buildings.  Note: Power supply equipment with special characteristics, developed for particular appli- cations, is not necessarily the subject of this standard and may require further tests.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen, Prüfverfahren und Leistungsmerkmalefür Energieversorgungseinrichtungen (siehe Bild 1, Kennbuchstabe L nach EN 54-1:1996) für Brandmeldesysteme fest, die in Gebäuden installiert sind. AMERKUNG: Energieversorgungseinrichtungen mit speziellen Eigenschaften, die für bestimmte Anwendungen entwickelt wurden, sind nicht Gegenstand dieser Norm und können zusätzliche Prüfungen erfodern.

Cette norme européenne établit les exigences, les méthodes d'essais et les critères de performance des équipements d'alimentation électrique (voir dispo- sitif L de la Figure 1 de l'EN 54-1:1996) pour les systèmes de détection et d'alarme incendie installés dans les bâtiments. Note: Les équipements d'alimentation électriques possédant des caractéristiques spéciales, développées pour des applications particulières, ne sont pas néces- sairement couverts par la présente norme et peuvent exiger des essais complé- mentaires.
