Moisture content of a piece of sawn timber - Part 3: Estimation by capacitance method

This document specifies a non destructive method for estimating the moisture content of a piece of sawn timber. The standard describes the conditions which shall be met by a capacitance measuring system to derive a moisture content estimate for individual pieces of timber.
The standard applies to sawn timber and timber which has been planed or surfaced by other means.

Dieses Dokument legt ein zerstörungsfreies Verfahren zur Schätzung der Holzfeuchte eines Stückes Schnitt-
holz fest. Diese Norm beschreibt die Bedingungen, die von einem kapazitiven Messsystem erfüllt werden
müssen, um die Holzfeuchte einzelner Stücke Schnittholz schätzen zu können.
Diese Norm gilt für Schnittholz und für Holz, das gehobelt oder anderweitig oberflächenbearbeitet wurde.

Le présent document définit une méthode non destructive d�estimation de la teneur en humidité d�une pièce
de bois scié. La norme décrit les conditions qui doivent êtres remplies par un système de mesure capacitive
pour obtenir une estimation de la teneur en humidité pour des pièces de bois individuelles.
Cette norme s�applique aux bois sciés et aux bois rabotés ou surfacés par d�autres moyens.
