Die Internationale Norm ISO 472 legt englische und französische Begriffe aus der Kunststoffindustrie fest.
Die vorliegende deutsche Fassung legt die entsprechenden deutschen Begriffe fest. Sie ist nach alphabetischer
Reihenfolge der deutschen Begriffe sortiert, jeweils gefolgt vom entsprechenden englischen und französischen
Begriff sowie der deutschen Definition.
Alle Begriffe sind zusätzlich in einem Index englisch-französich-deutsch, sortiert in alphabetischer Reihenfolge
der englischen Begriffe, sowie in einem Index französisch-englisch-deutsch, sortiert in alphabetischer Reihen-folge
der französischen Begriffe, aufgeführt.
Bei Begriffen, die ein oder mehrere Synonyme aufweisen, sind diese dem vorzugsweise zu verwendenden Begriff
nachgestellt. Zusätzlich sind alle Synonyme in einem alphabetischen Verzeichnis aufgeführt, das auf den
jeweiligen Begriff verweist, bei dem die Definition gefunden werden kann. Soll die Verwendung eines Synonyms
vermieden werden, steht ein entsprechender Hinweis.
Das Zeichen 7 nach einer Definition oder Anmerkung weist auf einen anderen Begriff (kein Synonym), eine
Definition oder eine Anmerkung hin, die weitere Angaben zu dem nach dem Zeichen stehenden Begriff enthält.
ANMERKUNG 1 Für Begriffe aus dem Bereich der Olefine ist der von der IUPAC festgelegte (wissenschafliche) Name in
eckigen Klammern dem gebräuchlichen Begriff aus der Kunststoffindustrie nachgestellt, zum Beispiel Polyethylen [Polyethen].
ANMERKUNG 2 Die Regeln der IUPAC über Basispolymere besagen, dass Klammern verwendet werden müssen, wenn
¿poly" von einem Begriff gefolgt wird, der mehr als ein Wort umfasst. In der vorliegenden internationalen Norm wurde diese
Regel befolgt.

La présente Norme Internationale définit les termes utilisés dans l'industrie des plastiques, en français et en anglais. Les termes sont répertoriés d'après l'ordre alphabétique des termes anglais avec définition et en regard les termes français et leur définition. Tous les termes sont classés alphabétiquement en index français-ang lais, anglais-russe et russe-anglais, selon l'ordre normal des mots composant ces termes. Lorsqu'il existe un ou plusieurs terme(s) synonyme(s) d'un terme, le (ou les) synonyme(s) est (sont) donnés à la suite du terme à employer de préférence. Les synonymes à éviter sont indiqués par «(à éviter)». Les synonymes sont cités à la suite du terme principal et également dans la liste alphabétique où ils sont suivis du signe ---> qui renvoie au terme principal. L'abréviation «cf.» est utilisée après la définition ou note pour renvoyer à un terme (non un synonyme) dont la définition ou la note contiennent une information relative au terme précédent le signe.
NOTE 1 Pour les termes concernant les oléfines, le nom (scientifique) approuvé par l'IUPAC est donné entre crochets à la suite du nom généralement employé dans l'industrie des plastiques, par exemple polyéthylène [polyéthène].
NOTE 2 Les règles de l'IUPAC concernant les termes relatifs aux produits de base des polymères, précisent que, lorsque «poly» est suivi d'une expression comportant plus d'un mot, on doit utiliser les parenthèses. La présente Norme Internationale respecte la pratique recommandée par l'IUPAC. Dans l'usage courant, on néglige souvent l'emploi des parenthèses.
NOTE 3 Certains termes de la présente Norme Internationale sont suivis d'une information entre parenthèses, pour indiquer une limitation de l'équivalence à un domaine particulier.
NOTE 4 Dans le texte anglais, les termes définis sont indiqués par «noun», «verb». or «adjective».
NOTE 5 Le signe ---> veut dire: pour la définition, se référer à.

This European Standard was approved by CEN on 9 June 2001.

Standard the status of a national standard without any alteration. Up-to-date lists and bibliographical references concerning such national

versions.

Foreword
The text of the International Standard from Technical Committee ISO/TC 61 "Plastics" of the
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has been taken over as an European
Standard by Technical Committee CEN/TC 249 "Plastics", the secretariat of which is held by
IBN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of
an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by January 2002, and conflicting national
standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by January 2002.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of
the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium, Czech
Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg,
Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
NOTE FROM CMC The foreword is susceptible to be amended on reception of the German language
version. The confirmed or amended foreword, and when appropriate, the normative annex ZA for the
references to international publications with their relevant European publications will be circulated with the
German version.
Endorsement notice
