Cycles - Safety requirements for bicycles - Part 1: Terms and definitions (ISO 4210-1:2014)

ISO 4210-1:2014 specifies terms and definitions related to safety and performance requirements for the design, assembly, and testing of bicycles and sub-assemblies having saddle height as given in Table 1.

Dieser Teil von ISO 4210 legt Begriffe in Bezug auf sicherheitstechnische und leistungsbezogene Anfor-derungen an konstruktive Ausführung, Zusammenbau und Prüfung von Fahrrädern und Baugruppen fest, die über eine in Tabelle 1 festgelegte Sattelhöhe verfügen.
Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für spezialisierte Fahrradtypen wie Lastenfahrräder, Liegefahrräder, Tandems, BMX-Fahrräder und Fahrräder, die für harte Anwendungen wie genehmigte Wettbewerbsveranstaltungen, Trickfahrten oder Kunstsprungfiguren ausgelegt und ausgerüstet sind.
ANMERKUNG Bei Fahrrädern mit einer maximalen Sattelhöhe von 435 mm oder weniger siehe ISO 8124-1 und bei einer maximalen Sattelhöhe von mehr als 435 mm und weniger als 635 mm siehe ISO 8098.

ISO 4210-1:2014 spécifie les termes et définitions relatifs aux exigences de sécurité et de performance à observer lors de la conception, de l'assemblage et des essais de bicyclettes et des sous-ensembles, ayant une hauteur de selle comme indiqué dans le tableau 1.
Ce document ne s'applique pas aux types spécialisés de bicyclettes comme les bicyclettes de livraison, bicyclettes couchés, tandems, bicyclettes BMX et bicyclettes conçues et équipées pour une utilisation dans des usages sévères telles que des compétitions réglementées, cascades, ou des figures acrobatiques.
NOTE          Pour les bicyclettes dont la hauteur maximale de selle est inférieure ou égale à 435mm, se reporter à la norme ISO 8124‑1, et pour une hauteur maximale de selle supérieure à 435mm et inférieure à 635mm se reporter à l'ISO 8098.

Standard EN ISO 4210-1 določa izraze in definicije v zvezi z varnostnimi in tehničnimi zahtevami za zasnovo, sestavo in preskušanje koles in njihovih podsestavov z višino sedeža, podano v preglednici 1. Ta del standarda ISO 4210 ne velja za specializirane vrste koles, na primer dostavna kolesa, ležeča kolesa, tandemska kolesa, kolesa BMX in kolesa, zasnovana in opremljena za uporabo v zahtevnih pogojih, na primer na sankcioniranih tekmovanjih, za izvajanje trikov in akrobacij.

This document (EN ISO 4210-1:2014) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 149 "Cycles" in
collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 333 “Cycles” the secretariat of which is held by UNI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by January 2015, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by July 2015.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN 14764:2005, EN 14766:2005, EN 14781:2005.
