Fixed firefighting systems - Components for gas extinguishing systems - Part 8: Requirements and test methods for connectors

This European Standard specifies requirements and describes test methods for flexible and rigid connectors used in CO2 -, Inert Gas- or Halocarbon gas fire extinguishing systems.
This European Standard is applicable to connectors used:
-   between container valves and the manifold (type 1 and type 5 connector);
-   in pneumatic pilot lines (type 3 connector);
in distribution pipework of fire extinguishing installations downstream of the manifold/selector valve (type 2 or type 4 connector).

Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen fest und beschreibt Prüfverfahren für flexible und starre Verbindungen
fest, die in CO2-, Inertgas-Feuerlöschanlagen und Feuerlöschanlagen mit halogenierten Kohlenwasserstoffen
eingesetzt werden.
Dieses Dokument gilt für Verbindungen, die verwendet werden:
- zwischen Behälterventilen und dem Sammelrohr (Typ 1- und Typ 5-Verbindung),
- in pneumatischen Steuerleitungen (Typ 3-Verbindung),
- in Düsenrohrnetzen von Löschanlagen hinter dem Sammelrohr/dem Bereichsventil (Typ 2- oder
Typ 4-Verbindung).

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences et décrit les méthodes d’essai concernant les raccords
flexibles et rigides utilisés dans les installations d’extinction au CO2, à gaz inerte et à gaz inhibiteur.
La présente Norme européenne s’applique aux raccords utilisés :
- entre les vannes du réservoir et le collecteur (raccords de type 1 et de type 5) ;
- dans les canalisations pilotes pneumatiques (raccords de type 3) ;
- dans le réseau d’alimentation des installations d’extinction, en aval du collecteur ou de la vanne
directionnelle (raccords de type 2 ou de type 4).
