ISO 15614-1:2017 specifies how a preliminary welding procedure specification is qualified by welding procedure tests.
ISO 15614-1:2017 applies to production welding, repair welding and build-up welding.
ISO 15614-1:2017 defines the conditions for the execution of welding procedure tests and the range of qualification for welding procedures for all practical welding operations within the qualification of this document.
The primary purpose of welding procedure qualification is to demonstrate that the joining process proposed for construction is capable of producing joints having the required mechanical properties for the intended application.
Two levels of welding procedure tests are given in order to permit application to a wide range of welded fabrication. They are designated by levels 1 and 2. In level 2, the extent of testing is greater and the ranges of qualification are more restrictive than in level 1.
Procedure tests carried out to level 2 automatically qualify for level 1 requirements, but not vice-versa.
When no level is specified in a contract or application standard, all the requirements of level 2 apply.
This document applies to the arc and gas welding of steels in all product forms and the arc welding of nickel and nickel alloys in all product forms.
Arc and gas welding are covered by the following processes in accordance with ISO 4063.
111 - manual metal arc welding (metal-arc welding with covered electrode);
114 - self-shielded tubular-cored arc welding;
12 - submerged arc welding;
13 - gas-shielded metal arc welding;
14 - gas-shielded arc welding with non-consumable electrode;
15 - plasma arc welding;
311 - oxy-acetylene welding.
The principles of this document may be applied to other fusion welding processes.
NOTE A former process number does not require a new qualification test according to this document.
Specification and qualification of welding procedures that were made in accordance with previous editions of this document may be used for any application for which the current edition is specified. In this case, the ranges of qualification of previous editions remain applicable.
It is also possible to create a new WPQR (welding procedure qualification record) range of qualification according to this edition based on the existing qualified WPQR, provided the technical intent of the testing requirements of this document has been satisfied. Where additional tests have to be carried out to make the qualification technically equivalent, it is only necessary to perform the additional test on a test piece.

Diese Norm legt fest, wie eine vorläufige Schweißanweisung durch Schweißverfahrensprüfungen qualifiziert wird.
Diese Norm wird angewendet beim Schweißen in der Produktion, beim Ausbesserungsschweißen und beim Auftragschweißen.
Diese Norm definiert die Bedingungen für die Durchführung der Schweißverfahrensprüfungen und den Geltungsbereich für Schweißverfahren für alle praktischen schweißtechnischen Tätigkeiten innerhalb des Bereichs der Einflussgrößen.
Der Hauptzweck der Qualifizierung des Schweißverfahrens ist der Nachweis der mechanischen Eigenschaften der Schweißkonstruktion.
Zwei Stufen der Schweißverfahrensprüfung sind angegeben, um eine große Anzahl von Schweiß-konstruktionen abzudecken. Diese sind mit den Nummern 1 und 2 bezeichnet. Bei Stufe 2 ist der Prüfumfang größer und die Geltungsbereiche sind eingeschränkter als bei Stufe 1.
Schweißverfahrensprüfungen, die auf Stufe 2 durchgeführt werden, sind automatisch für Stufe 1 qualifiziert, jedoch nicht umgekehrt.
Falls keine Stufe bei einem Auftrag oder in einer Anwendungsnorm festgelegt ist, treffen die Anforderungen von Stufe 2 zu.
Diese Norm wird angewendet beim Lichtbogen- und Gasschweißen von Stählen in allen Produktformen und beim Lichtbogenschweißen von Nickel und Nickellegierungen in allen Produktformen.
Lichtbogen- und Gasschweißen umfasst die folgenden Schweißverfahren nach EN ISO 4063:2011. Die Untergruppen der einzelnen Verfahren dürfen berücksichtigt werden.
111: Lichtbogenhandschweißen;
114: Metall-Lichtbogenschweißen mit Fülldrahtelektrode ohne Schutzgas;
12: Unterpulverschweißen;
13: Metall-Schutzgasschweißen;
14: Wolfram-Schutzgasschweißen;
15: Plasmaschweißen;
311: Gasschweißen mit Sauerstoff-Acetylen-Flamme.
Die Grundsätze dieser Norm dürfen bei anderen Schmelzschweißverfahren angewendet werden.
ANMERKUNG Eine frühere Prozessnummer erfordert keine neue Verfahrensprüfung nach dieser Norm.

ISO 15614-1:2017 spécifie comment un descriptif de mode opératoire de soudage préliminaire est qualifié par des épreuves de qualification du mode opératoire de soudage.
ISO 15614-1:2017 s'applique au soudage de production, de réparation et de reconstitution.

L'objet principal de la qualification d'un mode opératoire de soudage est de démontrer que le procédé d'assemblage proposé pour la construction est capable de produire des assemblages ayant les propriétés mécaniques requises pour l'application prévue.
ISO 15614-1:2017 prévoit deux niveaux d'épreuves de qualification du mode opératoire de soudage, de façon à être applicable à une large gamme de fabrications soudées. Ils sont désignés niveau 1 et niveau 2. Dans le niveau 2, l'étendue des essais est plus vaste et le domaine de validité plus restrictif que dans le niveau 1.
Les épreuves de qualification de modes opératoires réalisées selon le niveau 2 satisfont automatiquement les exigences du niveau 1, mais pas l'inverse.
Lorsqu'aucun niveau n'est spécifié dans un contrat ou une norme d'application, l'ensemble des exigences du niveau 2 s'appliquent.
ISO 15614-1:2017 s'applique au soudage à l'arc et aux gaz d'aciers sous toutes formes, et au soudage à l'arc du nickel et des alliages de nickel sous toutes formes.
Les soudages à l'arc et aux gaz sont couverts par les procédés suivants, conformément à l'ISO 4063.
111 - soudage manuel à l'arc avec électrode enrobée;
114 - soudage à l'arc avec fil fourré autoprotecteur;
12 ? soudage à l'arc sous flux (en poudre);
13 - soudage à l'arc avec électrode fusible sous protection gazeuse;
14 - soudage à l'arc avec électrode réfractaire sous protection gazeuse;
15 - soudage plasma;
311 - soudage oxyacétylénique.
Les principes du présent document peuvent s'appliquer à d'autres procédés de soudage par fusion.
NOTE Les anciennes numérotations de procédés ne nécessitent pas une nouvelle épreuve de qualification au titre du présent document.
Un descriptif et une qualification de mode opératoire de soudage qui ont été effectués conformément aux précédentes éditions du présent document peuvent être utilisés pour toute application pour laquelle la présente édition est spécifiée. Dans ce cas, le domaine de validité des précédentes éditions reste applicable.
Il est également possible de créer un nouveau domaine de validité de PV-QMOS (procès-verbal de qualification du mode opératoire de soudage) selon la présente édition en se basant sur le PV-QMOS qualifié existant, à condition que l'intention technique des exigences d'essai du présent document ait été satisfaite. Lorsque des essais complémentaires doivent être réalisés pour rendre la qualification techniquement équivalente, il est uniquement nécessaire de réaliser l'essai complémentaire sur un assemblage de qualification.

136 – varjenje s stržensko žico s ščitom iz aktivnega plina;
137 – varjenje s stržensko žico s ščitom iz inertnega plina;
141 – obločno varjenje z inertnim plinom in volframovo elektrodo, varjenje TIG;
15 – plazemsko obločno varjenje;
311 – oksiacetilensko varjenje.
Načela tega evropskega standarda je mogoče uporabiti za druge postopke fuzijskega varjenja.
