Respiratory protective devices - Compressed air line breathing apparatus incorporating a hood - Requirement, testing, marking

This European Standard specifies minimum requirements for compressed air line breathing apparatus incorporating a hood as a respiratory protective device. Escape and diving apparatus and that used in abrasive blasting operations are not covered by this standard.   Laboratory and practical performance tests are included for the assessment of compliance with the requirements.

Diese Europäische Norm Mindestanforderungen für Druckluft-Schlauchgeräte in Verbindung mit einer Haube als Atemschutzgerät. Flucht- und Tauchgeräte sowie Geräte, die bei Strahlarbeiten eingesetzt werden, sind nicht Gegenstand dieser Norm. Die Norm enthält Laborprüfungen und praktische Leistungsprüfungen, um die Übereinstimmung mit den Anforderungen feststellen zu können.

La présente norme européenne fixe les exigences minimales des appareils de protection respiratoire à adduction d'air comprimé avec cagoule, utilisés en tant du'appareils de protection respiratoire. Les appareils destinés à l'évacuation, à la plongée et ceux utilisés dans les opérations de projection d'abrasifs ne sont pas couverts par cette norme. Elle contient des essais en laboratoire et des essais pratiques de performance pour s'assurer de la conformité avec les spécifications.
