Leisure accommodation vehicles - 12 V direct current extra low voltage electrical installations - Part 1: Caravans
This European Standard specifies safety, health and functional requirements for 12 V direct current (DC) extra low voltage (ELV) electrical installations for habitation aspects of caravans. It covers the design and integration of the caravan system with the towing vehicle system.
It does not apply to commercial trailers; nor does it include requirements for ELV road lighting and signalling lamps and their installations, except for safety requirements for the routing of cables in LPG storage compartments.
This European Standard also specifies the ELV output requirements of low voltage (LV) equipment that may be used to provide an ELV supply but it does not specify safety, technical and functional requirements for LV appliances and installations. Requirements for LV installations are specified in HD 60364-7-721.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die sicherheitstechnischen, gesundheitlichen und funktionellen Anforderungen an elektrische Kleinspannungsanlagen für DC 12 V im Wohnbereich von Caravans fest. Sie beinhaltet die Gestaltung des Caravansystems und seinen Anschluss an das System des Zugfahrzeugs.
Sie gilt nicht für kommerzielle Anhänger und enthält keine Anforderungen an Kleinspannungsleistungs-(ELV-) Straßenlampen, Signallampen und deren Einbau, außer sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen an die Führung von Leitungen durch Schränke für die Lagerung von Flüssiggas.
Diese Europäische Norm legt auch die Anforderungen an die Kleinspannungsleistungsabgabe von Niederspannungs-(LV-)Geräten fest, die benutzt werden dürfen, um eine Kleinspannungsversorgung zu sichern, aber sie legt nicht die Sicherheitsanforderungen, technischen und funktionellen Anforderungen an Niederspannungsgeräte und -anlagen fest. Anforderungen an Niederspannungsanlagen sind in HD 60364 7 721 festgelegt.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences en matière de sécurité, de santé et de fonctionnement s’appliquant aux installations électriques à très basse tension (TBT) de 12 V en courant continu (CC) utilisées dans la partie habitable des caravanes. Il traite de la conception du système de la caravane et de son intégration au système du véhicule tracteur.
Il ne s’applique pas aux remorques commerciales et ne contient aucune exigence relative aux dispositifs TBT de signalisation et d’éclairage routiers ni à leur installation, sauf pour les exigences de sécurité concernant l’acheminement des câbles à l’intérieur des compartiments de stockage de GPL.
La présente Norme européenne spécifie également les caractéristiques de sortie TBT des équipements basse tension (BT) pouvant être utilisés pour fournir une alimentation TBT, mais il n’impose pas d’exigences en matière de sécurité ou de caractéristiques techniques et fonctionnelles s’appliquant aux appareils et installations BT. Les exigences relatives aux installations BT sont spécifiées dans la norme HD 60364-7-721.

Ta evropski standard določa varnostne, zdravstvene in funkcionalne zahteve za 12 V enosmerno (DC) električno napeljavo male napetosti (ELV) za bivalne vidike prikolic. Zajema projektiranje in povezovanje sistema prikolice z vlečnim sistemom vozila. Ne uporablja se za gospodarske prikolice in ne vključuje zahtev za električno napeljavo male napetosti svetilk za cestno razsvetljavo in signalizacijo ter njihovih napeljav razen varnostnih zahtev za polaganje kablov v prostore za hranjenje utekočinjenega naftnega plina. Ta evropski standard določa tudi izhodne zahteve električne napeljave male napetosti za opremo male napetosti (LV), ki se lahko uporablja za zagotavljanje oskrbe električne napeljave male napetosti, vendar ne določa varnostnih, tehničnih in funkcionalnih zahtev za aparate in napeljavo male napetosti. Zahteve za napeljavo male napetosti so določene v standardu HD 60364-7-721.
