Glass in building - Determination of the bending strength of glass - Part 3: Test with specimen supported at two points (four point bending)

This standard specifies a method for determining the bending strength, including the effects of the edges, of flat glass for use in building. The method specified can also be used to determine the bending strength of the edges of glass separately. The limitations of this standard are described in prEN 1288-1. prEN 1288-1 should be read in conjunction with this standard.

Diese Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Biegefestigkeit von Flachglas im Bauwesen einschließlich der Glaskanten fest. Das festgelegte Verfahren kann auch nur zur Bestimmung der Biegefestigkeit der Glaskanten angewendet werden. Die Grenzen der Anwendbarkeit dieses Teiles der Norm sind in prEN 1288-1 beschrieben. prEN 1288-1 sollte in Verbindung mit diesem Teil der Norm gelesen werden.

Verre dans la construction - Détermination de la résistance du verre à la flexion - Partie 3: Essais avec éprouvettes supportées en deux points (flexion quatre points)

La présente norme donne une méthode de détermination de la résistance à la flexion du verre utilisé dans le bâtiment, en excluant les effets de bord. La méthode spécifiée peut aussi être utilisée pour déterminer la résistance à la flexion pour les bords du verre séparément. Les limitations de la présente norme sont décrites dans le prEN 1288-1. Il convient que le prEN 1288-1 soit lu conjointement avec cette norme.
