Portable equipment for projecting extinguishing agents supplied by fire fighting pumps - Portable foam equipment - Part 3: Low and medium expansion hand-held foam branchpipes PN 16

1.1   This European Standard applies to handheld foam branchpipes, and self-inducting foam branchpipes, for low and medium expansion foam used by fire and rescue services and defines their specification and test procedures.
NOTE   In this European Standard, the term "branchpipe" also refers to "hand-held foam branchpipes".
1.2   This European Standard is not applicable to hand-held foam branchpipes which have been manufactured before its date of publication as European Standard.

1.1   Diese Europäische Norm gilt für von Hand geführte Schaumstrahlrohre und selbstansaugende Schaumstrahlrohre für Mittel- und Schwerschaum, die von Feuerwehren verwendet werden und legt deren Spezifikationen und Prüfverfahren fest.
ANMERKUNG   In dieser Europäischen Norm steht der Begriff 'Strahlrohr' auch für 'Schaumstrahlrohr'.
1.2   Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Schaumstrahlrohre, die vor der Veröffentlichung dieser Europäischen Norm hergestellt wurden.

NOTE   Dans la présente Norme européenne, le terme "lance" fait également référence aux "lances à mousse à main".
1.2   La présente Norme européenne ne s'applique pas aux lances à mousse à main qui ont été fabriquées avant sa date de publication comme Norme européenne.
