This European Standard defines the requirements for manufacture, qualification, inspection and testing of products in structural adhesive systems where the adhesive is supplied in the form of a paste, either a one part or two part system, for aerospace applications. The adhesive may be used in conjunction with a primer whose requirements are also included in this European Standard. It is applicable whenever referenced on a material standard.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen für die Herstellung, Qualifikation und Prüfung von Produkten in strukturellen Klebstoffsystemen fest, bei denen der Klebstoff in Form einer Paste vorliegt, entweder als Ein- oder Zweikomponentensystem, zur Anwendung in der Luft- und Raumfahrt. Der Klebstoff kann in Verbindung mit einem Haftgrundmittel verwendet werden, für den die Anforderungen ebenfalls in dieser Norm enthalten sind. Sie ist immer dann anzuwenden, wenn in einer Werkstoffnorm auf sie verwiesen wird.

La présente Norme européenne définit les exigences relatives à la fabrication, la qualification, le contrôle et les essais de produits dans les systèmes d’adhésifs structuraux, systèmes en une seule ou en deux parties, lorsque l’adhésif est fourni sous forme de pâte, pour les applications aérospatiales. L’adhésif peut être utilisé conjointement avec le primaire dont les exigences sont aussi incluses dans la présente Norme européenne. Elle s’applique chaque fois qu’elle est citée en référence dans une norme de matériau.
