Acoustics - Test code for drywall systems of plasterboard with steel studs - Airborne sound insulation

This European Standard specifies information additional to EN ISO 10140 1 necessary to carry out efficiently and under standardized conditions the determination of the sound reduction index of drywall systems of plasterboard with steel studs according to EN ISO 10140 2 “Acoustics — Laboratory measurement of sound insulation of -building elements — Part 2: Measurement of airborne sound insulation”. Observe that all demands in EN ISO 10140 2 should still be fulfilled. In order to decrease the uncertainty, it specifies:
-   additional guidelines for testing drywall systems of plasterboard with steel studs;
and
-   a method to validate laboratory by using two reference test partitions.
The results obtained are used to convert frequency-dependent sound reduction index into single number ratings, according to EN ISO 717 1. These performances can be used to compare different products, or, and to express a requirement, or, and as input into estimation methods, such as EN 12354 1.

Dieser europäische Normentwurf legt zusätzliche Angaben fest, die für die effiziente Durchführung der Bestimmung des Schalldämm-Maßes von Trockenwandsystemen aus Gipsplatten mit Stahlständern nach EN ISO 10140 2 “Akustik — Messung der Schalldämmung von Bauteilen im Prüfstand — Teil 2: Messung der Luftschalldämmung“ unter genormten Bedingungen erforderlich sind. Er legt die zusätzlichen Anforderungen an die Messungen der Schalldämmung, die für die Prüfung anzuwendenden Betriebs- und Befestigungsbedingungen sowie zusätzliche, im Prüfbericht anzugebende Informationen fest. Es ist zu beachten, dass weiterhin alle Anforderungen der EN ISO 10140 2 erfüllt werden müssen. Die erhaltenen Ergebnisse werden genutzt, um das frequenzabhängige Schalldämm-Maß in Einzahl-Bewertungen nach EN ISO 717 1 umzuwandeln. Diese Leistungsfaktoren können genutzt werden, um verschiedene Produkte miteinander zu vergleichen und/oder um Anforderungen anzugeben und/oder als Eingabedaten für Schätzverfahren wie z. B. EN 12354 1.

La présente Norme européenne fournit les informations complémentaires à l'EN ISO 10140-1 nécessaires pour déterminer de manière efficace et dans des conditions normalisées l'indice d'affaiblissement acoustique de systèmes de cloisons sèches en plaques de plâtre avec montants en acier conformément à l'EN ISO 10140-2, « Acoustique — Mesurage en laboratoire de l'isolation acoustique des éléments de construction — Partie 2 : Mesurage de l'isolation au bruit aérien ». Noter qu'il convient que toutes les exigences de l'EN ISO 10140-2 soient encore satisfaites. Afin de réduire l'incertitude, elle spécifie :
-   des lignes directrices supplémentaires pour l'essai de systèmes de cloisons sèches en plaques de plâtre avec montants en acier ;
et
-   une méthode de validation du laboratoire en utilisant deux cloisons d'essai de référence.
Les résultats obtenus sont utilisés pour convertir les indices d'affaiblissement acoustique par fréquence en valeurs globales, conformément à l'EN ISO 717-1. Ta osnutek evropskega standarda določa dodatne informacije, potrebne za učinkovito določitev zvočne izolirnosti suhomontažnih sistemov iz mavčno-kartonskih plošč s kovinsko konstrukcijo pod standardiziranimi pogoji v skladu s standardom EN ISO 10140-2: Akustika - Laboratorijsko merjenje zvočne izolirnosti gradbenih elementov - 2. del: Merjenje izolirnosti pred zvokom v zraku. Določa dodatne zahteve za meritve zvočne izolirnosti, zahteve za delovanje in priključitev, ki jih je treba uporabiti za preskus, ter dodatne informacije, ki jih mora vključevati poročilo o preskusu. Upoštevati je treba, da morajo biti še vedno izpolnjene vse zahteve standarda EN ISO 10140-2. Dobljeni rezultati se uporabijo za pretvorbo indeksa zvočne izolirnosti, odvisnega od frekvence, v enoštevilčne podatke v skladu s standardom EN ISO 717-1. Te lastnosti se lahko uporabijo za primerjavo različnih proizvodov ali/in za izražanje zahteve ali/in kot vhod v metode vrednotenja (npr. skupina standardov EN 12354-1).

5 000 62,8 75,5 4.3.3 Remedial investigation If the measurement results do not meet the given criteria then the analysis of the interlaboratory test organized in 2010 (Annex D) suggests that the following reasons should be investigated: — diffusivity (please refer to the EN ISO 10140-5:2010, 3.2.2); — flanking transmission, in particular for partition type 2 (please refer to the EN ISO 10140-5:2010, 3.2.5). NOTE Other parameters like changing loudspeaker and microphone positions can be a way to reach the criteria. These remedial actions should be applicable for both reference test partitions and shall be applied for all further testing. SIST EN 16703:2015

For the purpose of this standard it is assumed that the values of the k = 2. A measurement result shall then be stated as follows: Y = y ± U [2] where Y is the measurand (Rw, Rw+C, Rw+Ctr); y the best estimate found by the measurement; U is the expanded uncertainty calculated for a given confidence level for the two-sided test 95 %.

Reference test partition location in aperture A.1 General This annex has two objectives: — to define with precision the location of the partition when validating the laboratory with the two reference test partitions; — to simplify the description of the partition's location in test report. To ensure a good reproducibility the specimen has to be installed on source side, and its location has to be reported with the letters representing the following privileged configuration. A.2 Case A “Aperture without niche and one acoustic break” Case A is the configuration with an aperture without a niche and with one acoustic break; see Figure A.1.
