Water quality - Methods of biological sampling - Guidance on handnet sampling of aquatic benthic macro-invertebrates (ISO 7828:1985)

Specifies equipment and procedures in shallow waters (down to a depth of about 1,5 m) which are accessible either by wading or from a bank or boat. The procedures are applicable to all accessible aquatic habitats in rivers, streams, poinds, estuaries and lake shores.

Diese Internationale Norm beschreibt Ausrüstung und Methode zur Probenahme benthischer Makro-Invertebraten mittels eines Handnetzes in seichten Gewässern (bis zu einer Tiefe von etwa 1,5m), die entweder durch Waten oder vom Ufer oder Boot aus zugänglich sind.

La présente Norme internationale spécifie l'équipement et les modes opératoires pour le prélèvement de macro-invertébrés benthiques à l'épuisette dans des eaux peu profondes (jusqu'à environ 1,5 m de profondeur) accessibles soit à pied, soit de la rive, soit d'un bateau. Les modes opératoires sont applicables au prélèvement de tous les habitats aquatiques accessibles dans les rivières, les courants, les étangs, les estuaires et les bordures de lacs. Ce procédé fournit des données qualitatives sur la présence, l'absence, la diversité et l'abondance relative des taxons selon la quantité prélevée et la taille des mailles.
