Slurry surfacing - Test methods - Part 2: Determination of residual binder content including preparation of samples

This European Standard specifies test methods for determining the residual binder content of samples of slurry surfacing mixtures.
This document describes the method for preparing the specimens and for removing water from the samples before carrying out the extraction test.
The method described in this European Standard needs to be used only to determine the quantity of binder and not to investigate its quality.
This European Standard applies to slurry surfacing to be used in surface layers for roads, airfields and other trafficked areas.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung des Bindemittelgehaltes von Proben aus Mischgut für dünne Asphaltdeckschichten in Kaltbauweise fest.
Dieses Dokument legt das Verfahren der Probenvorbereitung sowie das Verfahren, mit dessen Hilfe den Proben vor Durchführung der Extraktionsprüfung Wasser zu entziehen ist, fest.
Das in dieser Europäischen Norm beschriebene Verfahren wird nur angewendet, um die Menge des Bindemittels zu bestimmen, jedoch nicht zur Untersuchung seiner Qualität.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt für dünne Asphaltdeckschichten in Kaltbauweise, die in Oberflächenschutzschichten für Straßen, Landeplätze und andere Verkehrsflächen verwendet werden

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les méthodes d'essai pour déterminer la teneur en liant résiduel des échantillons de mélanges de matériaux bitumineux coulés à froid, qu’il s’agisse de Coulis bitumineux ou d’Enrobés coulés à froid.
Le présent document décrit la méthode de préparation et de séchage des échantillons soumis à essais avant de procéder à l'essai d'extraction.
La méthode décrite dans la présente Norme européenne peut uniquement être utilisée pour déterminer la quantité de liant et non pour analyser sa qualité.
La présente Norme européenne s'applique aux matériaux bitumineux coulés à froid (Coulis bitumineux et Enrobés coulés à froid) à utiliser dans le revêtement des routes, des aérodromes et autres surfaces réservées à la circulation.
