Paints and varnishes - Coating materials and coating systems for exterior masonry and concrete - Part 11: Methods of conditioning before testing

This European Standard specifies four methods for the conditioning of test specimens which have been prepared
for testing the resistance to weather conditions of coating materials and coating systems for exterior masonry and
concrete.
The methods of conditioning specified make allowance of a wide range of weather conditions so that deviating
methods of conditioning are required in exceptional cases only. Unless otherwise specified, for example in standards
describing particular test methods, the method to be used should be agreed between the interested parties.

Dies ist einer von mehreren Teilen von EN 1062, der Prüfverfahren für Beschichtungsstoffe und
Beschichtungssysteme für mineralische Untergründe und Beton im Außenbereich behandelt. Er sollte
im Zusammenhang mit EN 1062-1 angewendet werden.
Je nach Einsatzort, Neigung und Richtung sind Baustoffe Änderungen von Temperatur und Feuchte
sowie UV-Strahlung in wechselnder Folge, Dauer und Intensität ausgesetzt. Aufgrund der
Veränderlichkeit dieser Einflüsse und ihrer Kombinationen ist es sinnvoll, die Beständigkeit von
Beschichtungen für mineralische Untergründe und Beton im Außenbereich gegen die Einwirkungen
des Wetters zu prüfen, um zu bestätigen, dass sie bestimmten Anforderungen entsprechen. Die in
dieser Europäischen Norm festgelegten Verfahren sind zum Konditionieren vor der weiteren Prüfung
und Bewertung der Beständigkeit von Beschichtungen unter den Einwirkungen des Wetters geeignet.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie quatre méthodes pour le conditionnement des éprouvettes d'essai qui ont été préparées pour évaluer la résistance aux conditions climatiques des produits de peinture et des systèmes de revêtement pour maçonnerie et béton à l'extérieur.
Les méthodes de conditionnement spécifiées tiennent compte d'un large éventail de conditions climatiques, si bien que d'autres méthodes de conditionnement ne sont requises que dans des cas exceptionnels. Sauf si elle est spécifiée par ailleurs, par exemple dans des normes décrivant des méthodes d'essai particulières, il convient que la méthode utilisée ait fait l'objet d'un accord entre les parties intéressées.
