Basic human body measurements for technological design - Part 1: Body measurement definitions and landmarks (ISO 7250-1:2008)
ISO 7250-1:2008 provides a description of anthropometric measurements which can be used as a basis for comparison of population groups. It is intended to serve as a guide for ergonomists who are required to define population groups and apply their knowledge to the geometric design of the places where people work and live.

Dieser Teil der ISO 7250 stellt wesentliche anthropometrische Maße zusammen, die als Grundlage für einen
Vergleich von Bevölkerungsgruppen dienen können.
Die in diesem Teil der ISO 7250 zusammengestellten anthropometrischen Maße sollen eine Hilfe für Ergonomen
sein, bei der Definition von Nutzer-Bevölkerungen und bei der Umsetzung der metrischen Daten für
die Gestaltung der Arbeits- und Lebenswelt.
Diese Auflistung hat nicht das Ziel, als Messanleitung zu dienen, sondern sie soll dem Ergonomen und
Designer das anatomische und anthropometrische Basiswissen vermitteln und gleichzeitig die Prinzipien der
Messmethoden deutlich machen, um sie bei der Entwicklung von Gestaltungslösungen zu nutzen.
Dieser Teil der ISO 7250 kann in Zusammenhang mit nationalen oder internationalen Vorschriften oder
Vereinbarungen zur Vereinheitlichung in der Beschreibung von Bevölkerungsgruppen dienen. Vor dem Hintergrund
der verschiedenen Anwendungsmöglichkeiten wird dabei davon ausgegangen, dass die in dieser
Internationalen Norm aufgenommenen anthropometrischen Maße durch spezifische weitere Messungen
ergänzt werden.

L'ISO 7250-1:2008 fournit une description de mesures anthropométriques qui peuvent être utilisées comme base de comparaison des groupes de populations. Elle a pour but de servir de guide aux ergonomes qui doivent définir des groupes de population et qui doivent utiliser leurs connaissances dans la conception dimensionnelle des espaces de travail et de vie.

Ta del ISO 7250 zagotavlja opis antropometrijskih meritev, ki se lahko uporabljajo kot osnova za primerjavo skupin prebivalstva. Osnovni seznam, določen v tem delu ISO 7250, je namenjen temu, da služi kot vodilo za ergonome, od katerih se pričakuje določanje skupin prebivalstva in uporaba njihovega znanja za geometrično načrtovanje prostorov, kjer ljudje delajo in živijo. The text of ISO 7250-1:2008 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 159 “Ergonomics” of the
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 7250-1:2010 by
Technical Committee CEN/TC 122 “Ergonomics” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by September 2010, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by September 2010.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 7250:1997.
