Timber structures - Test methods - General principles for static load testing

This standard specifies the general principles to be adopted for static load testing of timber structures or components. It is intended for use where it is necessary to verify by test that a structure or components complies with stated criteria. Relevant parts may be used for proof loading or for the testing of structures in service. This standard is not intended to be used for testing of individual pieces of timber, individual joints or structural scaled models

Holzbauwerke - Prüfverfahren - Allgemeine Grundsätze für die Prüfung unter statischen Belastungen

Diese Norm legt allgemeine Grundsätze fest, die für die Prüfung von Holzkonstruktionen oder -bauteilen unter statischer Belastung anzuwenden sind. Sie ist dort für die Anwendung vorgesehen, wo es erforderlich ist, durch Prüfungen nachzuweisen, dass eine Konstruktion oder ein Bauteil die festgelegten Kriterien erfüllt. Zutreffende Teile dürfen für Probebelastungen oder für die Prüfung von Konstruktionen im Gebrauchßustand angewandt werden.

La présente norme spécifie les principes généraux des essais sous charge statique des structures et éléments de structures en bois. Elle s'applique aux cas où il est nécessaire d'effectuer des essais pour vérifier si une structure est conforme à des critères déclarés. Certaines parties de la norme peuvent convenir aux épreuves, ou aux essais de structures en place. La présente norme n'est pas destinée à la réalisation d'essais sur les pièces de bois isolées, des assemblages isolés ou des maquettes de structures
