Transportable gas cylinders - Compatibility of cylinder and valve materials with gas contents - Part 1: Metallic materials (ISO 11114-1:1997)

This standard gives guidance in the selection and evaluation of compatibility between metallic gas cylinder and valve materials, and the gas content. The compatibility data given is related to single component gases. Seamless and welded gas cylinders used to contain compressed, liquefied and dissolved gases, are considered. Aspects such as quality of delivered product are not considered.

Diese Norm liefert eine Richtlinie für die Auswahl und Auswertung der Verträglichkeit von metallischen Gasflaschen und Ventilwerkstoffen und mit den in Berührung kommenden Gasen. Die Angaben zur Verträglichkeit beziehen sich auf Einzel-Gase. Nahtlose und geschweißte Gasflaschen, die zur Aufnahme von verdichteten, verflüssigten und unter Druck gelösten Gasen verwendet werden, sind berücksichtigt. Weitere Aspekte, wie die Qualität des gelieferten Produktes, werden nicht behandelt.

La présente norme constitue un guide pour le choix du matériau des bouteilles à gaz métalliques et de leur robinet et pour l'évaluation de la compatibilité de ce matériau avec le gaz contenu dans la bouteille. Les données de compatibilité indiquées se rapportent aux gaz à l'état pur. La norme prend en considération les bouteilles sans soudure et soudées destinées à contenir des gaz comprimés, liquéfiés ou dissous.
NOTE : Dans la présente norme, le terme «bouteille» se réfère aux récipients à pression transportables qui incluent aussi les tubes et les fûts à pression. Elle ne traite pas d'autres aspects tels que la qualité du produit fourni.
