This European Standard specifies a test method for measuring the indentation of mastic asphalt when it is penetrated at a given temperature, load and for a fixed time period by a standardised cylindrical indentor pin with a circular flat-ended base. This European Standard applies to mastic asphalt with aggregates of maximum nominal size less or equal to 16 mm.

Die vorliegende Europäische Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Messung der Eindringtiefe in Gussasphalt fest, wenn bei einer festgelegten Temperatur, einer festgelegten Beanspruchung und für eine bestimmte Zeit ein genormter zylindrischer Prüfstempel mit einer kreisrunden flachen Grundfläche in diesen Asphalt eindringt. Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Gussasphalt mit einer maximalen Nennkorngröße gleich oder kleiner als 16 mm.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie une méthode d’essai permettant de mesurer l’indentation d’un asphalte coulé lorsqu’il est soumis à la pénétration d’un poinçon normalisé cylindrique à embout plat circulaire, à des valeurs données de température et de charge et pour un temps d’application fixé. Cette Norme européenne s’applique à des asphaltes coulés dont la dimension nominale maximale des granulats est inférieure ou égale à 16 mm.

Ta evropski standard določa preskusno metodo za merjenje vtisa v litem asfaltu, ko se prebada pri določeni temperaturi in bremenu ter v določenem časovnem obdobju s standardiziranim valjastim vtisnim sornikom z okroglo ploščato osnovo. Ta evropski standard se uporablja za liti asfalt z agregati z največjo nominalno velikostjo, ki je manjša ali enaka 16 mm.
