Small craft - Permanently installed fuel systems (ISO 10088:2022)

This document specifies the requirements for the design, materials, construction, installation and testing of permanently installed fuel systems as installed for internal combustion engines.
It applies to all parts of permanently installed diesel and petrol fuel systems as installed, from the fuel fill opening to the point of connection with the propulsion or auxiliary engine(s) on inboard- and outboard-powered small craft.
Requirements for the design and testing of petrol and diesel fuel tanks for internal combustion engines that are intended to be permanently installed in small craft are given in ISO 21487:2022.

Kleine Wasserfahrzeuge - Dauerhaft installierte Kraftstoffsysteme (ISO 10088:2022)

Dieses Dokument legt die Anforderungen an Gestaltung, Werkstoffe, Konstruktion, Einbau und Prüfungen für fest eingebaute Kraftstoffsysteme für Hubkolben-Verbrennungsmotoren fest.
Es findet Anwendung auf alle fest eingebauten Kraftstoffsysteme für Dieselkraftstoff und Ottokraftstoff, und zwar von der Kraftstofffüllöffnung bis zu der Verbindungsstelle mit dem Antriebs- oder Hilfsmotor für durch Einbau und Außenbordmotoren angetriebene kleine Wasserfahrzeuge.
Die Anforderungen an die Konstruktion und die Prüfung von fest eingebauten Ottokraftstoff- und Dieselkraftstofftanks für Verbrennungsmotoren auf kleinen Wasserfahrzeugen sind in ISO 21487:2022 festgelegt.

Le présent document spécifie les exigences relatives à la conception, aux matériaux, à la construction, l’installation et aux essais des systèmes à carburant installés à demeure tels qu’installés et destinés à l’alimentation des moteurs à combustion interne.
Elle s’applique à tous les éléments des systèmes à carburant diesel et essence installés à demeure, tels qu’installés, depuis le nable de remplissage jusqu’au point de raccordement avec le ou les moteurs de propulsion ou auxiliaires des petits navires propulsés par moteurs intérieurs ou hors-bord.
Les exigences relatives à la conception et aux essais des réservoirs fixes à carburant installés à demeure sont données dans l’ISO 21487:2022.

Mala plovila - Trajno vgrajeni sistemi za dovajanje goriva (ISO 10088:2022)

Ta dokument določa zahteve za zasnovo, materiale, izdelavo, vgradnjo in preskušanje sistemov za gorivo, trajno vgrajenih v motorje z notranjim izgorevanjem.
Uporablja se za vse dele trajno vgrajenih sistemov za bencinsko in dizelsko gorivo, od odprtine za dovod goriva do točke povezave z vgrajenim ali izvenkrmnim pogonskim ali pomožnim motorjem malih plovil.
Zahteve za načrtovanje in preskušanje rezervoarjev za bencinsko in dizelsko gorivo za motorje z notranjim zgorevanjem, ki so namenjeni trajni vgradnji v mala plovila, so podane v standardu ISO 21487:2022.

This document (EN ISO 10088:2023) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 188 "Small
craft" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 464 “Small Craft” the secretariat of which is
held by SIS.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by September 2023, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by September 2023.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
