Geosynthetics - Determination of the pyramid puncture resistance of supported geosynthetics

This European Standard specifies an index test method to determine the puncture resistance of a geosynthetic on a rigid support.
This method simulates the efficiency of a geosynthetic protecting a geosynthetic barrier material or another contact surface against sharp rigid elements under short term loading.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Index-Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung des Durchdrückwiderstandes eines Geokunststoffs auf einer harten Unterlage fest.
Dieses Verfahren simuliert die Wirksamkeit eines Geokunststoffs in seiner Funktion als Schutz einer geosynthetischen Dichtungsbahn oder einer sonstigen Berührungsfläche gegen scharfe starre Gegenstände unter kurzzeitiger Belastung.

La présente norme européenne  spécifie une méthode d'essai de référence pour  déterminer   la résistance au poinçonnement  d'un géosynthétique sur support rigide.
Cette méthode permet, par simulation, d'évaluer l’efficacité d'un géosynthétique à protéger une géomembrane ou toute autre surface de contact contre les éléments rigides et tranchants sous une charge à court terme.
