Fuel cell technologies - Part 2: Fuel cell modules

IEC 62282-2:2012 provides the minimum requirements for safety and performance of fuel cell modules; it applies to fuel cell modules with or without an enclosure which can be operated at significant pressurization levels or close to ambient pressure. Deals with conditions that can yield hazards to persons and cause damage outside the fuel cell modules. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: - inclusion of definitions for hazards and hazardous locations based on the IEC 60079 series; - modification of the general safety strategy and of the electrical components clause to reflect the needs for different application standards. Ta del standarda IEC 62282 določa minimalne zahteve glede varnosti in zmogljivosti modulov gorivnih celic in se uporablja za module gorivnih celic z naslednjimi elektroliti: – bazičnimi; – polimernimi (vključno z gorivnimi celicami na čisti metanol) 1; – fosforno kislino; – tekočim ogljikom; – oksidom; – vodno raztopino soli. Moduli gorivnih celic so na voljo z ohišjem ali brez in jih je mogoče uporabljati pri znatnih tlačnih razlikah ali normalnem zračnem tlaku. Ta standard obravnava pogoje, ki so lahko nevarni za ljudi in povzročijo škodo zunaj modulov gorivnih celic. Ta standard ne vključuje zaščite pred poškodbami znotraj modulov gorivnih celic, če to ne pomeni nevarnosti poškodbe zunaj modula. Te zahteve se lahko glede na določeno področje uporabe nadomestijo z drugimi standardi za opremo, ki vsebuje module gorivnih celic. Ta standard ne zajema uporabe v cestnih vozilih. Ta standard ne omejuje ali preprečuje tehnološkega napredka. This document supersedes EN 62282-2:2004 + A1:2007.
EN 62282-2:2004:
- inclusion of definitions for hazards and hazardous locations based on the EN 60079 series;
- the general safety strategy is modified to reflect the needs for different application standards. The
modifications are in line with similar modifications made to EN 62282-3-100;
- the electrical components clause is modified to reflect the needs for different application standards.
