Evropski standard EN 50110 je sestavljen iz dveh delov:
- prvi del, EN 50110-1, vsebuje minimalne zahteve, ki veljajo za vse države CENELEC, in nekatere dodatne informativne dodatke, ki obravnavajo varno delo;
- drugi del, EN 50110-2, je nabor normativnih dodatkov (po en na državo), ki bodisi določajo trenutne varnostne zahteve bodisi podajajo nacionalne dodatke k tem minimalnim zahtevam, ki so veljali v času priprave tega evropskega standarda.

This European Standard was approved by CENELEC on 2010-03-01. CENELEC members are bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations which stipulate the conditions for giving this European Standard the status of a national standard without any alteration.
Up-to-date lists and bibliographical references concerning such national standards may be obtained on application to the Central Secretariat or to any CENELEC member.
This European Standard exists in three official versions (English, French, German). A version in any other language made by translation under the responsibility of a CENELEC member into its own language and notified to the Central Secretariat has the same status as the official versions.

The European Standard EN 50110 consists of two parts: - the first part EN 50110-1 contains minimum requirements valid for all CENELEC countries and some additional informative annexes dealing with safe working; - the second part EN 50110-2 is a set of normative annexes (one per country) which specify either the present safety requirements or give the national supplements to these minimum requirements at the time when this European Standard was prepared.
The national annexes (if any) are summarized by the respective member country.
National Committees shall notify CENELEC of any changes needed to their national annex.

II Nr. 13/2007). This regulation provides instruction to personnel who have to prepare and organize specific live working procedures for voltages exceeding 1 kV (BGBl. 10/1982).
