Electrical and electronic household and office equipment - Measurement of networked standby power consumption of edge equipment
IEC 63474:2023 specifies methods of measurement of electrical power consumption in networked standby and the reporting of the results for edge equipment. Power consumption in standby (other than networked standby) is covered by EN 50564, including the input voltage range. This document also provides a method to test power management and to test whether it is possible to deactivate wireless network connection(s). This document does not apply to the measurement of electrical power consumption in networked standby for interconnecting equipment.

La consommation d'énergie en veille (autre que la veille avec maintien de la connexion au réseau) est couverte par l'EN 50564, y compris la plage de tensions d'entrée. Le présent document fournit également une méthode d'essai de la gestion de l'énergie et permet d'établir la possibilité ou non de désactiver les connexions au réseau sans fil. Le présent document ne s'applique pas au mesurage de la consommation électrique en veille avec maintien de la connexion au réseau des équipements d'interconnexion.

Standard IEC 63474:2023 določa metode merjenja porabe električne energije v stanju omrežne pripravljenosti in poročanje o rezultatih za opremo na robu omrežja.
Poraba energije v pripravljenosti (ki ni omrežna pripravljenost), vključno z razponom vhodne napetosti, je zajeta v standardu EN 50564.
Ta dokument zagotavlja tudi metodo za preskušanje upravljanja energije in ali je mogoče onemogočiti brezžične omrežne povezave.

FOREWORD
1) The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising
all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote international
co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. To this end and
in addition to other activities, IEC publishes International Standards, Technical Specifications, Technical Reports,
Publicly Available Specifications (PAS) and Guides (hereafter referred to as "IEC Publication(s)"). Their
