The ISO 5843 series establishes a list of equivalent terms used in the field of aerospace construction. This
International standard of ISO 5843 (part 6) gives thosedocument lists terms relating to the standard
atmosphere in the field of aerospace construction.
NOTE In addition to the terms given in the three official ISO languages (English, French and Russian), this
International standard (part 6) of ISO 5843 gives the equivalent terms in German and Chinese. These terms have been
included at the request of ISO Technical Committee ISO/TC 20, and are published under the responsibility of the member
body for Germany, F.R. (DIN) and for China, SAC. However, only the terms given in the official languages can be considered
