This amendment A11 modifies the European Standard EN IEC 61084-2-1:2024; it was approved by CENELEC on 2024-08-05. CENELEC
members are bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations which stipulate the conditions for giving this amendment the
status of a national standard without any alteration.
Up-to-date lists and bibliographical references concerning such national standards may be obtained on application to the CEN-CENELEC
Management Centre or to any CENELEC member.
This amendment exists in three official versions (English, French, German). A version in any other language made by translation under the
responsibility of a CENELEC member into its own language and notified to the CEN-CENELEC Management Centre has the same status as
the official versions.

Replace “ISO 536:2012, Paper and board – Determination of grammage” with
“ISO 536:2019, Paper and board – Determination of grammage”
2 Modification to Clause 9, “Construction”
In “9.102 Contact between liquids and insulated conductors and live parts”:
replace “ISO 535” with “ISO 535:2014” and replace “ISO 536” with “ISO 536:2019”.
3 Modification to Clause 10, “Mechanical properties”
In “10.2.1 General test conditions”:
replace in the sixth paragraph “class 5, Table 3” with “Table 3 - class 5”.
In 10.3.2.104:
replace the NOTE with:
“The assembly is opened to check that any internal cracks do not impair electrical safety.
