Ferrite cores - Dimensions - Part 6: ETD-cores for use in power supplies
This part of IEC 62317 specifies the dimensions that are of importance for mechanical
interchangeability for ETD-cores made of ferrite, the essential dimensions of coil formers to
be used with them, and the effective parameter values to be used in calculations involving
them.
The use of “derived” standards which give more detailed specifications of component parts
while still permitting compliance with this standard is discussed in Annex A, which also
contains an example of a derived standard for coil formers.

L'IEC 62317-6:2015 spécifie les dimensions qui revêtent une importance particulière pour l'interchangeabilité mécanique pour les noyaux ETD en ferrite, les dimensions essentielles des carcasses à utiliser avec ces noyaux et les valeurs des paramètres effectifs à utiliser pour les calculs qui s'y rapportent. Cette première édition annule et remplace la deuxième édition de l'IEC 61185 parue en 2005 dont elle constitue une révision technique. Cette édition inclut les modifications techniques majeures suivantes par rapport à l'édition précédente:
- Modification de la dimension A du noyau ETD 54.

Ta del standarda IEC 62317 določa mere, ki so pomembne za mehansko medsebojno zamenljivost feritnih ETD-jeder, bistvene mere tuljave, ki se uporablja s temi jedri, in vrednosti efektivnih parametrov, ki se uporabljajo pri izračunih, povezanih z jedri.
Uporaba »izpeljanih« standardov, ki podajajo podrobnejše specifikacije o delih komponent in hkrati dovoljujejo skladnost s tem standardom, je obravnavana v dodatku A, ki vključuje tudi primer izpeljanega standarda za tuljave.

FOREWORD
1) The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising
all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote
international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. To
this end and in addition to other activities, IEC publishes International Standards, Technical Specifications,
Technical Reports, Publicly Available Specifications (PAS) and Guides (hereafter referred to as “IEC
