Die Norm prEN 1946-3 enthält ergänzende technische Kriterien für die Begutachtung von Laboratorien bei der Durchführung von Messungen der Wärmeübertragungseigenschaft im stationären Zustand nach dem Verfahren mit dem Wärmestrommeßplatten-Gerät nach prEN 12667 und prEN 12664. Sie ergänzt die allgemeingültigen Regeln nach prEN 1946-1. Hierzu wird eine Anleitung zum Aufbau und zum Inhalt des Gerätehandbuches, der Kalibrier- und Wartungskartei und zum Dokument über die Messung gegeben.
