In addition to the requirements given in EN 15182-1, this part of this European Standard applies to hand-held branchpipes with smooth bore jet and/or one fixed spray jet angle branchpipes PN 16, with a maximum flow rate of 1 000 l/min at a reference pressure of 6 bar (0,6 MPa). It deals with: safety requirements; performance requirements; test methods; classification and designation; information for use; marking and maintenance. This part of this European Standard applies to branchpipes as defined in Annex A of EN 15182-1:2007.

Zusätzlich zu den in EN 15182-1 angegebenen Anforderungen gilt der vorliegende Teil dieser Europäischen Norm für Strahlrohre mit Vollstrahl und/oder einem unveränderlichen Sprühstrahlwinkel PN 16 mit einer maximalen Durchflussmenge von 1 000 l/min bei einem Referenzdruck von 6 bar (0,6 MPa). Behandelt werden:
- Sicherheitsanforderungen;
- Anforderungen an die Funktion;
- Prüfverfahren;
- Klassifizierung und Bezeichnung;
- Betriebsanleitung;
- Kennzeichnung und Instandhaltung.
Der vorliegende Teil dieser Europäischen Norm gilt für Strahlrohre nach EN 15182-1:2007, Anhang A.
ANMERKUNG 1 Da diese Strahlrohre keinen oder nur unzureichenden Schutz für Feuerwehrangehörige bieten, wenn der Sprühwinkel weniger als 30° beträgt, sollten sie nicht in Situationen bei der Brandbekämpfung mit hohem Risiko eingesetzt werden, wie z. B. Brandbekämpfung im Gebäudeinneren.
ANMERKUNG 2 Diese Strahlrohre sollten nicht für die Brandbekämpfung in oder an elektrischen Anlagen eingesetzt werden, wenn der Sprühwinkel weniger als 30° beträgt, sofern dies vom Hersteller nicht schriftlich im Handbuch autorisiert wurde. Diese Autorisierung des Herstellers sollte Mindestabstände einschließen.

En complément des prescriptions données dans l’EN 15182-1, la présente partie de la présente Norme européenne s‘applique aux lances à main à jet plein et/ou une diffusion à angle fixe PN 16 de débit maximal 1 000 l/min à une pression de référence de 6 bar (0,6 MPa). Elle traite :
- des prescriptions de sécurité ;
- des prescriptions de performance ;
- des méthodes d’essai ;
- du classement et de la désignation ;
- de la notice d’instructions ;
- du marquage et de l’entretien.
Cette partie de la présente Norme européenne s’applique aux lances définies dans l’Annexe A de l’EN 15182 1:2007.
NOTE 1 Ces lances offrent une protection insuffisante, voire nulle, pour les pompiers lorsque l’angle de diffusion est inférieur à 30° ; il convient donc de ne pas les utiliser dans des situations de lutte contre l’incendie à haut risque, telles que l’attaque en intérieur.
NOTE 2 Il convient de ne pas utiliser ces lances lorsque l’on combat un incendie qui s’est déclaré dans des installations électriques ou qui a été provoqué par ces dernières avec un angle de diffusion inférieur à 30°, sans l’autorisation écrite du fabricant dans la notice d’instructions. Il convient que cette autorisation du fabricant comporte les distances de sécurité.

Obravnava: varnostne zahteve, zahteve za zmogljivost, preskusne metode, razvrščanje in imenovanje, informacije za uporabo, označevanje in vzdrževanje. Ta del tega evropskega standarda velja za ročnike, kot so opredeljeni v Prilogi A EN 15182-1:2007.
