Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Erstarrungszeit für Mörtel mit und ohne Zusatzmittel fest. Sie ist eine Anpassung an die in EN 196-3 beschriebene Prüfung der Erstarrungszeit.
Diese Norm beschreibt das Referenzverfahren; die Norm lässt die Verwendung alternativer Prüfeinrichtungen, die jeweils in den Anmerkungen angegeben sind, zu, sofern diese die Prüfergebnisse nicht beeinflussen.

This document (EN 480-2:2006) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 104 “Concrete and
related products”, the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by February 2007, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn
at the latest by February 2007.
This document supersedes EN 480-2:1996.
