Straight thermocouple assembly with metal or ceramic protection tube and accessories

This standard applies to straight thermocouples for the nominal pressure level PN 1, which are made of standardized components (connection head, protection tube and thermocouple(s)). Details regarding the operational areas of the thermocouples and the use of protection tubes are part of this standard. Connection heads as well as stop flanges and threaded bushings for the mounting of the thermocouples are also part of this standard. Special designs are to be agreed upon between manufacturer and user.

Gerade Thermoelemente mit Metall- oder Keramik-Schutzrohr und Zubehör

Diese Norm gilt für gerade Thermoelemente für die Nenndruckstufe PN 1, die aus genormten Einzelteilen (Anschlusskopf, Schutzrohr und Thermoelement(e)) gebaut werden. Einzelheiten über die Betriebsbereiche der Thermopaare und die Verwendung der Schutzrohre sind in dieser Norm enthalten. Anschlussköpfe sowie Anschlagflansche und Gewindemuffen für die Befestigung der Thermoelemente an der Einbaustelle sind in dieser Norm ebenfalls enthalten. Sonderausführungen sind zwischen Lieferant und Anwender zu vereinbaren.

Cette norme traite des thermocouples droits pour la pression nominale PN°1 et qui sont constitués de composants normalisés (tête de connexion, tube de protection et thermocouples(s)). Les détails concernant les domaines d’application des thermocouples et l’utilisation des tubes de protection font partie de cette norme. Les têtes de connexion ainsi que les plaques d’arrêt et les traversées filetées pour le montage des thermocouples font également partie de cette norme. Le fournisseur et l’utilisateur devront se mettre d’accord pour les conceptions particulières.

1 Scope
This standard applies to straight thermocouples for the nominal pressure level PN 1, which are made of
standardized components (connection head, protection tube and thermocouple(s)).
Details regarding the operational areas of the thermocouples and the use of protection tubes are part of this
standard.
Connection heads as well as stop flanges and threaded bushings for the mounting of the thermocouples are

All dimensions in this standard are given in mm. If not stated differently the general tolerances according to
EN 22768-1 apply. The thermocouples do not have to conform to the illustration, only the indicated
dimensions must be adhered to.
