Ta mednarodni standard opisuje metodo za določevanje porazdelitve velikosti delcev biogoriv z metodo z vodoravno nihajočim sitom. Uporablja se za nestisnjena goriva z nazivno zrnatostjo vsaj 1 mm, kot so lesni sekanci, drobljenci, olivne koščice itd. Vzorec se preseje skozi vodoravno nihajoča sita, ki mehansko razvrstijo delce po velikosti od največjih do najmanjših. Sejanje mora potekati z vodoravno nihajočim premikanjem (eno- ali dvodimenzionalno) in uporabo ustrezne frekvence sunkov v skladu z vrsto materiala. Število sit in velikosti njihovih odprtin je treba izbrati v skladu s specifikacijo velikosti dejanskega vzorčnega materiala.

1 Scope
This part of ISO 17827 specifies a method for the determination of the size distribution of particulate
