Information technology - Cabling installation - Part 2: Installation planning and practices inside buildings

1.1   Scope
This European Standard specifies requirements for the following aspects of information technology cabling:
a)   planning;
b)   installation practice.
This European Standard is applicable to all types of information technology cabling inside buildings (and may be applied to cabling that is defined as part of the building) including generic cabling systems designed in accordance with the EN 50173 series. The requirements of Clauses 4, 5 and 6 of this standard are premises-independent unless amended by the requirements of premises-specific clauses.
This European Standard:
1)   details the considerations for satisfactory installation and operation of information technology cabling;
2)   describes the methodology for the assessment of spaces, pathways (and pathway systems) and cabling (either installed or planned) in support of remote powering objectives;
3)   excludes specific requirements applicable to other cabling systems (e.g. power supply cabling); however, it takes account of the effects other cabling systems have on the installation of information technology cabling (and vice versa) and gives general advice;
4)   excludes those aspects of installation associated with the transmission of signals in free space between transmitters, receivers or their associated antenna systems (e.g. wireless, radio, microwave or satellite).
This European Standard is intended for application within commercial and residential premises.
This standard is applicable to certain hazardous environments. It does not exclude additional requirements which are applicable in particular circumstances, defined by e.g. electricity supply and electrified railways.
1.2   Conformance
For a cabling installation to conform to this European Standard:
a)   the planning of the installation shall meet the requirements of Clause 4;
b)   the installation practices shall meet the requirements of Clause 5;
c)   the additional requirements of the applicable premises-specific clause shall be met;
d)   the bonding system within the premises shall be in accordance with EN 50310;
e)   where a lightning protection system is required, it shall conform to the “integrated lightning protection system" according to EN 62305-4;
f)   other lightning protection systems, including the “isolated lightning protection system” according to EN 62305-3 are allowed provided that specific restrictions are applied both to the implementation of the information technology cabling and the requirements of EN 50310 as agreed between the planners of the lightning protection system and the information technology cabling;
g)   local regulations shall be met.
The responsibilities for specific elements of conformance may be made by national-specific amendment of Annex B.

Informationstechnik - Installation von Kommunikationsverkabelung - Teil 2: Installationsplanung und Installationspraktiken in Gebäuden

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an die folgenden Aspekte informationstechnischer Verka-belung fest:
a)   Planung;
b)   Installationspraktiken.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt für alle Arten informationstechnischer Verkabelung innerhalb von Gebäuden (und kann auf Verkabelung angewendet werden, die als Teil des Gebäudes definiert ist), einschließlich anwendungsneutraler Verkabelungsanlagen, die nach der Normenreihe EN 50173 ausgelegt sind.
ANMERKUNG   Die Planung und Installation bestimmter Arten von anwendungsspezifischer Verkabelung kann durch andere Normen ergänzt werden, z. B. durch EN 50491 6 1 für elektrische Systemtechnik für Heim und Gebäude (ESHG) und Gebäudeautomationssysteme (GA-Systeme).
Die in den Abschnitten 4, 5 und 6 dieser Norm gestellten Anforderungen sind, sofern sie nicht von den Anforderungen in den „gebäudespezifischen“ Abschnitten aufgehoben werden, gebäudeunabhängig.
Diese Europäische Norm:
1)   geht ausführlich auf Überlegungen bezüglich einer zufriedenstellenden Installation und eines zufriedenstellenden Betriebs von informationstechnischer Verkabelung ein;
2)   beschreibt die Methodik zur Bewertung von Räumlichkeiten, Kabelwegen (und Kabelwegsystemen) und Verkabelung (entweder installiert oder geplant) zur Unterstützung von Fernspeisung;
3)   schließt besondere Anforderungen aus, die bei anderen Verkabelungssystemen gelten (z. B. bei Stromversorgungsleitungen), berücksichtigt allerdings die Auswirkungen, die andere Verkabelung auf die Installation informationstechnischer Verkabelung (und umgekehrt) hat, und gibt allgemeine Ratschläge;
4)   schließt diejenigen Aspekte der Installation aus, die mit der Freiraumübertragung von Signalen zwischen Sendern, Empfängern oder deren zugehörigen Antennensystemen im Zusammenhang stehen.
Diese Norm ist in bestimmten gefährlichen Umgebungen anwendbar. Sie schließt zusätzliche Anforderungen nicht aus, die unter bestimmten Umständen, die z. B. von Elektrizitätsversorgungsunternehmen und elektrifi-zierten Eisenbahnen definiert werden, anzuwenden sind.

Technologies de l'information - Installation de câblages - Partie 2 : Planification et pratiques d'installation à l'intérieur des bâtiments

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences portant sur les aspects suivants du câblage pour les technologies de l’information:
a)   la planification;
b)   les pratiques en matière d’installation.
La présente Norme européenne s’applique à tous les types de câblages pour les technologies de l’information à l’intérieur des bâtiments (et elle peut s’appliquer au câblage qui est défini comme partie du bâtiment), y compris les systèmes génériques de câblage conçus conformément à la série EN 50173.
NOTE   La planification et l’installation de certains types de câblages spécifiques à une application peuvent être complétées par d’autres normes, par exemple, l’EN 50491-6-1 pour les systèmes électroniques pour les foyers domestiques et les bâtiments (HBES) et pour systèmes de gestion technique du bâtiment (SGTB).
Les exigences des Articles 4, 5 et 6 de la présente norme sont indépendantes des locaux, sauf si elles sont modifiées par les exigences contenues dans des articles spécifiques à ces locaux particuliers.
La présente Norme européenne:
1)   analyse les points à observer pour une installation et un fonctionnement satisfaisants d’un câblage pour les technologies de l’information;
2)   décrit la méthodologie applicable à l’évaluation des espaces, des chemins de câbles (et des systèmes de chemins de câbles) et du câblage (installé ou planifié) à l’appui des objectifs de téléalimentation;
3)   exclut les exigences particulières applicables à d’autres systèmes de câblage (par exemple, le câblage d’alimentation électrique); cependant, elle tient compte des effets que d’autres systèmes de câblage ont sur l’installation du câblage pour les technologies de l’information (et inversement) et donne des conseils appropriés;
4)   exclut les aspects de l’installation liés à la transmission de signaux en espace libre entre émetteurs-récepteurs ou leurs systèmes d’antennes associés.
La présente norme s’applique à certains environnements dangereux. Elle n’exclut pas des exigences additionnelles applicables dans des circonstances particulières, définies, par exemple, par les autorités en charge de la distribution électrique et des chemins de fer électrifiés.

Informacijska tehnologija - Polaganje kablov - 2. del: Načrtovanje inštalacij in tehnike dela v stavbah

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve za naslednje vidike kablov za informacijsko tehnologijo:
a) načrtovanje;
b) tehnika polaganja.
Ta evropski standard se uporablja za vse vrste kablov za informacijsko tehnologijo v stavbah (lahko se uporablja tudi za kable, ki so opredeljeni kot del stavbe), vključno z univerzalnimi sistemi polaganja kablov, zasnovanimi v skladu s skupino standardov EN 50173. Zahteve iz točk 4, 5 in 6 tega standarda so neodvisne od prostorov, razen če je v zahtevah iz točk, ki obravnavajo določene prostore, navedeno drugače. Ta evropski standard:
1) podrobno navaja opombe za zadovoljivo polaganje in delovanje kablov za informacijsko tehnologijo;

Ta evropski standard je namenjen za uporabo v poslovnih in stanovanjskih prostorih.
Ta standard se uporablja za nekatera nevarna okolja. Standard ne izključuje dodatnih zahtev, ki se uporabljajo v posebnih okoliščinah, opredeljenih npr. z oskrbo z električno energijo in elektrificiranimi železnicami.
1.2 Skladnost
Zahteve za skladnost polaganja kablov s tem evropskim standardom:
a) načrtovanje inštalacij mora izpolnjevati zahteve iz točke 4;
b) tehnike dela morajo izpolnjevati zahteve iz točke 5;
c) izpolniti je treba dodatne zahteve iz ustrezne točke, ki obravnava določene prostore;
d) sistem vezave v prostorih mora biti v skladu s standardom EN 50310;
e) če je potreben sistem za zaščito pred delovanjem strele, mora biti ta v skladu z »vgrajenim sistemom za zaščito pred delovanjem strele« iz standarda EN 62305-4;
f) drugi sistemi za zaščito pred delovanjem strele, vključno z »izoliranim sistemom za zaščito pred delovanjem strele« iz standarda EN 62305-3, so dovoljeni pod pogojem, da se uporabljajo določene omejitve izvedbe polaganja kablov za informacijsko tehnologijo in zahteve iz standarda EN 50310, kot je dogovorjeno med načrtovalci sistema za zaščito pred delovanjem strele in načrtovalci kablov za informacijsko tehnologijo;
g) upoštevati je treba lokalne predpise.
Odgovornosti za določene elemente skladnosti se lahko določi z dopolnilom k dodatku B, ki velja za posamezno državo.
