Fixed firefighting systems - Components for sprinkler and water spray systems - Part 12: Pumps

This document specifies requirements for single stage and multi-stage centrifugal pumps with mechanical seal or soft packing for use in automatic sprinkler systems and is for use with EN 12845 and EN 17451 .
This document is applicable for the following pumps, independent of installed orientation (vertical, horizontal or sloped according to the manufacturer indications):
-   end suction pumps (close coupled or long coupled) of the back pull-out type pump;
-   axial horizontal split case pumps;
-   ring section pumps including multistage single or multi outlet;
-   single or multistage inline pumps (pump with inlet and outlet in line);
-   submersible motor borehole pumps.
This document is also applicable to vertical turbine pumps.

Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen an einstufige und mehrstufige Kreiselpumpen mit mechanischer Dichtung oder Weichstoffdichtung für den Einsatz in automatischen Sprinkleranlagen fest und ist für die Verwendung mit EN 12845 und EN 17451  bestimmt.
Dieses Dokument ist für die folgenden Pumpen anwendbar, unabhängig von der Einbau¬ausrichtung (vertikal, horizontal oder geneigt, je nach Herstellerangabe):
-   Pumpen mit axialem Eintritt (Blockausführung oder Grundplattenausführung) der Pumpe in Prozess-bauweise;
-   längs geteilte Axial Gehäusepumpen;
-   Gliederpumpen inklusive mehrstufige Pumpen mit einem oder mehreren Ausgängen;
-   ein- oder mehrstufige Reihenpumpen (Pumpe mit Einlass und Auslass in Reihe);
-   Motortauchpumpen.
Dieses Dokument ist auch anwendbar für vertikale Turbinenpumpen.

Le présent document spécifie les exigences relatives aux pompes monocellulaires et multicellulaires à garnitures mécaniques d’étanchéité ou à tresses, destinées à être utilisées dans les systèmes d’extinction automatique du type sprinkleur et avec l’EN 12845 et l’EN 17451 .
Le présent document s’applique aux pompes suivantes, indépendamment de leur orientation d’installation (verticale, horizontale ou inclinée conformément aux indications du fabricant) :
—   les pompes à aspiration axiale (à accouplement rigide ou à accouplement long) de type à démontage arrière « back pull-out » ;
—   les pompes axiales à plan de joint horizontal ;
—   les pompes à corps segmenté, y compris les pompes multicellulaires à un seul ou à plusieurs orifices de refoulement ;
—   les pompes monocellulaires ou multicellulaires en ligne (pompe avec orifices d’aspiration et de refoulement en ligne) ;
—   les pompes de forage à moteur immergé.
Le présent document s'applique également aux pompes à turbine verticale.

Ta del skupine standardov EN 12259 določa zahteve za enostopenjske in večstopenjske centrifugalne črpalke z mehanskim tesnilom ali mehkim tesnilom za uporabo v avtomatskih sprinklerskih sistemih, uporablja pa se s standardoma EN 12845 in EN 17451.
Ta dokument se uporablja samo za naslednje črpalke, neodvisno od nameščenega položaja (navpično, vodoravno ali nagnjeno):
– sesalne vodne črpalke (tesno sklopljene ali dolgo sklopljene) izvlečnega tipa;
– osne vodoravne črpalke z deljenim ohišjem;
– črpalke z obročastim delom;
– črpalke, pritrjene na cevi (črpalka z navpično cevno gredjo z vstopnim in izstopnim vodom);
– navpične turbinske črpalke;
– večstopenjske črpalke, pritrjene na cevi;
– večstopenjske črpalke z več izstopnimi odprtinami;
– potopne motorne črpalke, primerne za vrtine.
