Safety rules for the construction and installation of lifts - Particular applications for passenger and goods passenger lifts - Part 73: Behaviour of lifts in the event of fire

This European Standard specifies the special provisions and safety rules to ensure the behaviour of lifts in the event of fire in a building, on the basis of a signal(s) from the fire alarm detection system to the lift(s) control system.
It applies to new passenger lifts and goods passenger lifts. However, it may be used as a basis to improve the safety of existing passenger and goods passenger lifts.
This standard gives various options for control of the lift in the event of a fire in a building.
This standard does not apply to:
¾   lifts which remain in use in the event of fire e.g. firefighters' lifts as defined in EN 81-72:2003;
¾   the use of lifts for the evacuation of a building and
¾   a fire in the well.

Diese Europäische Norm loegt die besonderen Maßnahmen und Sicherheitsregeln fest, um ein bestimmtes
Verhalten von Aufzügen im Brandfall sicherzustellen, das auf von der Brandmeldeanlage an die Aufzugs-
steuerung übermittelten Signalen basiert.
Sie ist auf neue Personen- und Lastenaufzüge anzuwenden. Sie kann jedoch auch sachdienlich zur Erhöhung
der Sicherheit bei bestehenden Personen- und Lastenaufzügen angewendet werden.
Diese Norm beschreibt mehrere Möglichkeiten der Steuerung von Aufzügen bei einem Brand in einem
Gebäude.
Diese Norm gilt nicht für
-
Aufzüge, die im Brandfall in Betrieb bleiben, z. B. Feuerwehraufzüge nach EN 81-72:2003;
-
die Nutzung von Aufzügen für die Evakuierung eines Gebäudes und
-
bei Brand im Schacht.

La présente norme Européenne spécifie les dispositions et les règles de sécurité spéciales pour assurer le fonctionnement des ascenseurs en cas d'incendie dans un bâtiment, sur la base d'un(de) signal(aux) du système de détection incendie aux systèmes de commande des ascenseurs.
Elle s'applique aux ascenseurs et aux ascenseurs de charge neufs. Cependant, elle peut servir de base pour améliorer la sécurité des ascenseurs et ascenseurs de charge existants.
La présente norme donne diverses options pour la commande de l'ascenseur en cas d'incendie dans le bâtiment.
La présente norme ne s'applique pas:
   aux ascenseurs qui restent en service pendant un incendie, par exemple, les ascenseurs "pompiers" tels que définis dans l'EN 81-72:2003,
   à l'utilisation des ascenseurs pour l'évacuation du bâtiment, et
   au feu dans la gaine.
