Ice makers for commercial use - Classification, requirements and test conditions (ISO 6369:2023)

This document specifies methods for the measurement of energy consumption, water consumption, ice production capacity and the harvested ice characteristics of ice makers with built-in condensing units for commercial use.
This document does not apply to:
—    ice makers intended to be incorporated in appliances for household use;
—    ice makers with remote condensing units.

Dieses Dokument legt Verfahren für die Messung des Energieverbrauchs, des Wasserverbrauchs, der Eisproduktionskapazität und der Eigenschaften des erzeugten Eises von Eisbereitern mit eingebautem Verflüssigungssatz für den gewerblichen Gebrauch fest.
Dieses Dokument ist nicht anwendbar für:
   Eisbereiter, die zum Einbau in Haushaltsgeräte bestimmt sind;
   Eisbereiter mit ferngesteuerten Verflüssigungssätzen.

Le présent document spécifie les méthodes de mesure de la consommation d'énergie, de la consommation d'eau, de la capacité et des caractéristiques de la glace récoltée par les machines à glaçons avec unités de condensation intégrées à usage commercial.
Le présent document ne s'applique pas aux:
—    machines à glaçons destinées à être incorporées dans des appareils à usage domestique;
—    machines à glaçons avec groupe de condensation séparé.

Ta standard določa metode za merjenje porabe energije in vode ter zmogljivosti izdelovalcev ledu in lastnosti izdelanega ledu za komercialno uporabo.
Ta standard se ne uporablja za:
– izdelovalce ledu, ki so namenjeni za vgradnjo v aparate za gospodinjsko uporabo;
– izdelovalce ledu z ločeno kondenzacijsko enoto.

This document (EN ISO 6369:2023) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 86
"Refrigeration and air-conditioning" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 44
“Commercial and Professional Refrigerating Appliances and Systems, Performance and Energy
Consumption” the secretariat of which is held by UNI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 2023, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by November 2023.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
