ISO 14050:2009 defines terms of fundamental concepts related to environmental management, published in the ISO 14000 series of International Standards.
Umweltmanagement - Begriffe (ISO 14050:2009)
Diese Internationale Norm definiert Begriffe von grundlegenden Konzepten zum Umweltmanagement, die in
den Internationalen Normen der Reihe ISO 14000 veröffentlicht wurden.
ANMERKUNG 1 Zusätzlich zu den in den drei offiziellen Sprachen von ISO (Englisch, Französisch und Russisch)
verwendeten Begriffen werden in dem vorliegenden Dokument die äquivalenten Begriffe auf Spanisch, Arabisch, Deutsch,
Finnisch, Italienisch, Niederländisch, Norwegisch, Portugiesisch und Schwedisch angegeben. Die Begriffe auf Spanisch
wurden unter der Zuständigkeit von der Arbeitsgruppe für die Übersetzung ins Spanische (en: Spanish Translation Task
Force, STTF) vom ISO/TC 207, die Begriffe auf Arabisch unter der Zuständigkeit von der Arbeitsgruppe für die
Übersetzung ins Arabische (en: Arabic Translation Task Force, ATTF) vom ISO/TC 207 veröffentlicht; die anderen
Begriffe wurden unter der Zuständigkeit von den Mitgliedskörperschaften für Deutschland (DIN), Finnland (SFS), Italien
(UNI), die Niederlande (NEN), Norwegen (SN), Portugal (IPQ) und Schweden (SIS) veröffentlicht. Die äquivalenten
Begriffe sind nur zu informativen Zwecken angegeben. Nur die in den offiziellen Sprachen von ISO angeführten Begriffe
und Definitionen können als Begriffe und Definitionen von ISO angesehen werden.
ANMERKUNG 2 Die zu bestimmten Definitionen angefügten Anmerkungen dienen der Erläuterung oder als Beispiel
zur Erleichterung des Verstehens des beschriebenen Konzeptes. In bestimmten Fällen dürfen sich die Anmerkungen in
den verschiedenen Sprachen aus linguistischen Gründen unterscheiden bzw. dürfen zusätzliche Anmerkungen angeführt
werden.
ANMERKUNG 3 Die Begriffe sind in einer systematischen Reihenfolge angeordnet und mit einem alphabetischen
Stichwortverzeichnis versehen. Eine Benennung in einer Definition oder Anmerkung, die in einem anderen Eintrag
definiert ist, wird halbfett dargestellt, gefolgt von der Eintragsnummer in Klammern. Derartige Begriffe dürfen durch ihre

Foreword
The text of ISO 14050:2009 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 207 “Environmental
management” of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO
14050:2010.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 2010, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn
at the latest by November 2010.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the following
countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech
