Safety shut-off devices for combustion plants using liquid fuels - Safety requirements and testing

This European Standard comprises safety requirements and test methods for safetyshut-off devices in combustion plants, which on opening release, with or without delay, the flow of the fuels mentioned below and shut off without delay on closing. This standard applies to the use of fuel oils. For other liquid fuels the test methods may be agreed between the manufacturer and the test institute

Diese Europäische Norm enthält sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen und Prüfungen für Sicherheitsabsperreinrichtungen in Feuerungsanlagen, die den Durchfluss nachstehend genannter Brennstoffe beim Öffnen unverzögert oder verzögert freigeben und beim Schliessen unverzögert dicht absperren. Die vorliegende Norm gilt für den Einsatz von Heizölen. Für andere flüssige Brennstoffe können die Prüfmassnahmen von Fall zu Fall zwischen Hersteller und Prüfstelle vereinbart werden.

La présente norme européenne comprend des exigences de sécurité et des procédures d'essai de dispositifs d'arrêt de sécurité pour installations de combustion qui libèrent en ouvrant, avec ou sans retardement, le débit de combustible désigné ci-après et qui l'arrêtent totalement par fermeture sans retardement. Cette norme est valable pour l'utilisation du fioul domestique. Pour d'autres combustibles liquides, les modalités d'essai peuvent être convenues cas par cas entre le fabricant et l'institut d'essais.
