Plastics warning devices for underground cables and pipelines with visual characteristics

This document specifies the material, mechanical and functional (fitness for purpose) requirements for warning devices with visual characteristics manufactured from plastics, intended to indicate the presence of cables and piping systems buried in ground when opening trenches and more generally during digging work.
This document also specifies test methods.
This document is applicable to two types of visual warning devices: tapes (type 1) and meshes (type 2).

Dieses Dokument legt den Werkstoff sowie mechanische und funktionale Anforderungen (Zweck-dienlichkeit) an Warneinrichtungen mit visuellen Eigenschaften fest, die aus Kunststoffen hergestellt sind und das Vorhandensein erdverlegter Kabel und Rohrleitungen beim Ausheben von Gräben oder allgemein bei Aushebearbeiten anzeigen.
Dieses Dokument legt auch Prüfverfahren fest.
Dieses Dokument ist auf zwei Arten von Warneinrichtungen mit visuellen Eigenschaften anwendbar: Bänder (Typ 1) und Netze (Typ 2).

Le présent document spécifie les exigences relatives au matériau ainsi que les exigences mécaniques et fonctionnelles (aptitude à l’emploi) des dispositifs avertisseurs à caractéristiques visuelles, en matière plastique, destinés à indiquer la présence de câbles et de systèmes de canalisations enterrés dans le sol, lors d’ouvertures de fouilles et, plus généralement, pendant les travaux d’excavation.
Le présent document spécifie également des méthodes d’essai.
Le présent document est applicable à deux types de dispositifs avertisseurs visuels : bandes (type 1) et grillages (type 2).
