Solid biofuels - Determination of length and diameter of pellets

This European Standard aims at defining the requirements and method used to measure the share of oversized pellets and the average length of pellets. It is intended for persons and organisations that manufacture, plan, sell, erect or use machinery, equipment, tools and entire plants related to fuel pellets, and to all persons and organisations involved in producing, purchasing, selling and utilising fuel pellets.

Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt Verfahren zur Bestimmung von Durchmesser und Länge von Pellets. Hinsichtlich der Pelletlänge sind sowohl Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Anteils an übergroßen Pellets als auch zur Bestimmung der durchschnittlichen Länge enthalten. Dieses Dokument ist für Personen und Organisationen bestimmt, die im Zusammenhang mit Brennstoff-Pellets Maschinen, Ausrüstung, Werkzeuge und vollständige Anlagen herstellen, planen, verkaufen, montieren oder anwenden, und für alle Personen und Organisationen, die an der Herstellung, dem Einkauf, dem Verkauf und der Nutzung von Brennstoff-Pellets beteiligt sind.

Le présent document a pour objet de définir les exigences et la méthode utilisée pour mesurer la longueur et le diamètre des pastilles de combustible. Elle s’adresse aux fabricants, concepteurs, vendeurs, installateurs et utilisateurs de matériel, d’équipement, d’outils et d’usines complètes où sont utilisées ces pastilles de combustible, ainsi qu’aux producteurs, acheteurs, vendeurs et utilisateurs de ces pastilles, qu’il s’agisse d’individus ou d’organisations.
