Paints and varnishes - Qualification of inspectors for corrosion protection of steel structures by protective paint systems
This European Standard gives qualification criteria for Paint Inspectors involved in corrosion protection of metallic substrates on steel structures by protective paint systems. The standard is intended to ensure a minimum level of professional competence of personnel engaged in inspection work during the various stages of corrosion protection. Included in the scope is both new construction and maintenance work.

Diese Europäische Vornorm enthält Anforderungen an die Qualifikation von Inspektoren, die sich mit dem Korrosionschutz von Stahlbauten durch Beschichtungssysteme befassen. Die Vornorm soll ein Mindestmaß an Fachkenntnissen von Inspektoren sichern, die während der Korrosions- schutzarbeiten tätig sind. Der Anwendungsbereich der Vornorm umfaßt Neubau und Instandsetzung. In Sinne dieser Vornorm sind Stahlbauten alle Bauten, die ganz oder teilweise aus Stahl bestehen.

La présente prénorme européenne indique les critères de qualification pour les inspecteurs chargés de la protection anticorrosion des structures en acier par systèmes de peinture. La présente prénorme européenne vise à assurer un niveau minimal de compétence professionnelle du personnel impliqué dans les activités d'inspection au cours de toutes les étapes de la protection anticorrosion. Sont inclus dans le domaine d'application la construction neuve et les travaux de maintenance.
