LPG equipment and accessories - Pressure relief valves for transportable refillable cylinders for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG)

This European Standard specifies the design, testing and marking requirements for spring loaded pressure relief valves (PRV), for use in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders.
These PRVs can be either an integral part of a cylinder valve (see EN ISO 14245 [3] and EN ISO 15995 [4]) or a separate device.
This European Standard does not exclude the use of other designs of pressure relief devices that provide a similar level of safety.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an die Auslegung, Prüfung und Kennzeichnung von federbelasteten Sicherheitsventilen (PRV, en: pressure relieve valves) für die Verwendung in Flaschen für Flüssiggas (LPG, en: liquefied petroleum gas) fest.
Bei diesen Sicherheitsventilen kann es sich entweder um ein fest eingebautes Teil eines Flaschenventils (siehe EN ISO 14245 [3] und EN ISO 15995 [4]) oder um eine getrennte Einrichtung handeln.
Diese Europäische Norm schließt die Verwendung anderer Arten von Druckentlastungseinrichtungen, welche ein gleichwertiges Sicherheitsniveau sicherstellen, nicht aus.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences de conception, d'essais et de marquage des soupapes de sécurité à action par ressort, utilisées pour les bouteilles de gaz de pétrole liquéfiés (GPL).
Ces soupapes peuvent faire partie intégrante du robinet de la bouteille (voir l'EN ISO 14245 [3] et l'EN ISO 15995 [4]) ou constituer un dispositif séparé.
La présente Norme européenne n'exclut pas l'utilisation de dispositifs contre les surpressions de conceptions différentes à condition qu'ils garantissent le même niveau de sécurité.

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve glede konstruiranja, preskušanja in označevanja varnostnih ventilov za uporabo na jeklenkah z utekočinjenim naftnim plinom (UNP). Ti ventili so lahko sestavni del ventila jeklenke (glej EN 13152 in EN 13153) ali ločen pripomoček. Ta evropski standard ne izključuje uporabe drugih oblik varnostnih pripomočkov, ki zagotavljajo enakovredno stopnjo varnosti. Dodajanje posodobitve okoljskega dodatka z uskladitvijo terminologije s standardom ISO/DIS 28622.
