This document specifies the design, testing and marking requirements for spring loaded pressure relief valves (PRV), for use in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders of water capacity of 0,5 l up to and including 150 l.
These PRVs can be either an integral part of a cylinder valve (see EN ISO 14245 [4] and EN ISO 15995 [5]) or a separate device.

Dieses Dokument legt die Anforderungen an die Auslegung, Prüfung und Kennzeichnung von federbelasteten Sicherheitsventilen (PRV, en: pressure relief valves) für die Verwendung in Flaschen für Flüssiggas (LPG, en: liquefied petroleum gas) mit einem Fassungsraum von 0,5 l bis einschließlich 150 l fest.
Bei diesen Sicherheitsventilen kann es sich entweder um ein fest eingebautes Teil eines Flaschenventils (siehe EN ISO 14245 [4] und EN ISO 15995 [5]) oder um eine getrennte Einrichtung handeln.

Le présent document spécifie les exigences de conception, d'essais et de marquage des soupapes de sécurité à action par ressort, utilisées pour les bouteilles de gaz de pétrole liquéfiés (GPL) d'une capacité en eau comprise entre 0,5 l et 150 l inclus.
Ces soupapes peuvent faire partie intégrante du robinet de la bouteille (voir l'EN ISO 14245 [4] et l'EN ISO 15995 [5]) ou constituer un dispositif séparé.
