Metallic industrial piping - Part 1: General

to include the following normative Clause :
"4. Interdependency of the parts of the series
Parts 2 to 8 of EN 13480, together with Part 1, form a consistent set of specifications which shall be followed for compliance to the standard."
This means that the numbering of the present clauses 4 and 5 needs to be changed in the whole standard.
- to include in Clause 2 "Normative references" the reference to
EN 13480-8:2007.
- to include in Table ZA.1 an additional line to give relation between the new Clause 4 of the standard and ESR 1.1 of the PED.

This amendment A2 modifies the European Standard EN 13480-1:2002; it was approved by CEN on 7 February 2008.

amendment into the relevant national standard without any alteration. Up-to-date lists and bibliographical references concerning such
national standards may be obtained on application to the CEN Management Centre or to any CEN member.
This amendment exists in three official versions (English, French, German). A version in any other language made by translation under the
responsibility of a CEN member into its own language and notified to the CEN Management Centre has the same status as the official
versions.

Foreword
This document (EN 13480-1:2002/A2:2008) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 267
“Industrial piping and pipelines”, the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR.
This Amendment to the European Standard EN 13480-1:2002 shall be given the status of a national standard,
either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 2008, and conflicting
national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by November 2008.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
The amendment is based on EN 13480-1:2002 up to issue 03 (2005-09).
This European Standard contains changes in the Foreword, in Clause 2, in Clause 5 and in Annex ZA of
EN 13480-1:2002.
This European Standard contains a new Clause 3.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the following
