LPG equipment and accessories - Specification and testing for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) tank valves and fittings

This European Standard specifies minimum requirements for the design and testing of valves, including appropriate fittings, which are connected to mobile or static LPG tanks above 150 litre water capacity. Pressure relief valves and their ancillary equipment, contents gauges and automotive LPG components are outside the scope of this European Standard.
This document does not apply to refineries or other process plants.

Dieses Dokument legt Mindestanforderungen an die Gestaltung und Prüfung von Ventilen und zugehörige Armaturen für den Betrieb mit Flüssiggas fest, die an ortsbeweglichen oder ortsfesten Flüssiggas Druck-behältern mit einem Fassungsvermögen von mehr als 150 l befestigt werden können.
Es gilt nicht für Sicherheitsventile, Flaschenventile und Inhaltsanzeiger für Flüssiggasbehälter oder für Bauteile von flüssiggasbetriebenen Fahrzeugen.

La présente Norme européenne définit les exigences minimales de conception et d’essais pour les équipements et leurs accessoires qui sont raccordés à des réservoirs fixes ou mobiles de GPL dont la capacité en eau est supérieure à 150 l. Les soupapes de sûreté et leurs équipements auxiliaires, les jauges de niveau et les composants pour véhicules GPL sont en dehors du domaine d’application de la présente Norme européenne.

This European Standard was approved by CEN on 12 December 2002 and includes Amendment 1 approved by CEN on 1 March 2005, Amendment 2 approved by CEN on 5 January 2007 and Corrigendum 1 issued in 2003.
