Prefabricated accessories for roofing - Individual plastic rooflights - Product specification and test methods

This document specifies characteristics for individual plastic rooflights. These rooflights have translucent parts made of plastic materials (e.g. GF-UP, PC, PMMA, PVC) which serve the primary purpose of introducing daylight.
This document applies to individual plastic rooflights with upstands made of e.g. GF-UP, PVC, steel, aluminium or wood and to individual plastic rooflights without upstand, intended for use on upstands. These individual plastic rooflights are intended for installation in flat and slightly inclined roofs.
This document applies to individual plastic rooflights with a rectangular or circular ground plan (see Figures 1 and 2), with an opening span (width) or diameter not larger than 2,5 m and an opening length not larger than 3,0 m. This document does not cover rooflights which contribute to the load-bearing or stiffness of the roof itself.
This document applies to individual plastic rooflights without upstand, where a single manufacturer provides all components of the rooflight and individual plastic rooflights with upstand, where a single manufacturer provides all components of the rooflight with upstand, which are bought in a single purchase.
This document applies to rooflights with one or several translucent parts.
Individual plastic rooflights can be opened by means of opening devices in one or more parts for ventilation.
The possible additional functions of day to day ventilation, smoke and heat ventilation e.g. in case of fire in accordance with EN 12101 2 and roof access, are outside the scope of this document.
This document does not apply to:
—   “Individual glass rooflights” acc. to prEN 1873 2
—   “Continuous plastic rooflights” according to prEN 14963 1 and “Continuous glass rooflights” according to prEN 14963-2
—   “Roof windows” according to EN 14351 1
NOTE    An indicative list of provisions for a proper application, use and maintenance of individual plastic rooflights is presented in Annex A.

Vorgefertigte Zubehörteile für Dacheindeckungen - Teil 1: Lichtkuppeln aus Kunststoff - Produktfestlegungen und Prüfverfahren

Dieses Dokument legt Merkmale für Kunststofflichtkuppeln fest. Diese Lichtkuppeln besitzen lichtdurchlässige Teile aus Kunststoff (z. B. GF UP, PC, PMMA, PVC), die in erster Linie der natürlichen Belichtung dienen.
Dieses Dokument gilt für Kunststofflichtkuppeln mit Aufsetzkränzen, z. B. aus GF UP, PVC, Stahl, Aluminium oder Holz, und für Kunststofflichtkuppeln ohne Aufsetzkranz, die zur Verwendung auf Aufsetzkränzen vorgesehen sind. Diese Kunststofflichtkuppeln sind für den Einbau in Flachdächer oder leicht geneigte Dächer vorgesehen.
Dieses Dokument gilt für Kunststofflichtkuppeln mit rechteckigem oder rundem Grundriss (siehe Bild 1 und Bild 2), mit einer Öffnungsweite (Breite) oder einem Durchmesser von höchstens 2,5 m und einer Öffnungslänge von höchstens 3,0 m. Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für Lichtkuppeln, die zur Tragfähigkeit oder zur Steifigkeit des Daches selbst beitragen.
Dieses Dokument gilt für Kunststofflichtkuppeln mit und ohne Aufsetzkranz, für die ein Hersteller im Rahmen eines Auftrages sämtliche Bauteile der Lichtkuppel und ggf. des Aufsetzkranzes liefert.
Dieses Dokument gilt für Lichtkuppeln mit einem oder mehreren lichtdurchlässigen Teilen.
Kunststofflichtkuppeln können mittels Öffnungsvorrichtungen in einem oder mehreren Teilen zum Be  und Entlüften geöffnet werden.
Die möglichen zusätzlichen Funktionen als Be  und Entlüftung im Alltag, Rauch  und Wärmeabzug, z. B. im Brandfall nach EN 12101 2, und als Dachausstieg liegen außerhalb des Anwendungsbereichs dieses Dokuments.
Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für:
—   Glaslichtkuppeln nach prEN 1873 2
—   Dachlichtbänder aus Kunststoff nach prEN 14963 1 und Dachlichtbänder aus Glas nach prEN 14963 2
—   Dachfenster nach EN 14351 1
ANMERKUNG   Eine unverbindliche Liste von Bestimmungen zum ordnungsgemäßen Einbau und zur ordnungsgemäßen Nutzung und Wartung von Kunststofflichtkuppeln ist in Anhang A enthalten.

Le présent document spécifie certaines caractéristiques pour les lanterneaux ponctuels en matière plastique. Ces lanterneaux comportent des panneaux translucides en matériaux plastiques (par exemple GF-UP, PC, PMMA, PVC) dont le but principal est de laisser passer la lumière du jour.
Le présent document s'applique aux lanterneaux ponctuels en matière plastique avec costières, par exemple en GF-UP, PVC, acier, aluminium ou bois, et aux lanterneaux ponctuels en matière plastique sans costière, prévus pour être utilisés sur des costières. Ces lanterneaux ponctuels en matière plastique sont destinés à être installés sur des toitures planes et à faibles pentes.
Le présent document s'applique aux lanterneaux ponctuels en matière plastique ayant une embase rectangulaire ou circulaire (voir Figures 1 et 2), dont la portée (largeur) ou le diamètre d'ouverture ne dépasse pas 2,5 m et dont la longueur d'ouverture n'est pas supérieure à 3,0 m. Le présent document ne couvre pas les lanterneaux qui contribuent à la portance ou à la raideur de la toiture proprement dite.
Le présent document s'applique aux lanterneaux ponctuels en matière plastique sans costière, dont tous les éléments constitutifs, partie intégrante d'un achat unique, sont fournis par un seul fabricant, et aux lanterneaux ponctuels en matière plastique avec costière, dont tous les éléments constitutifs, partie intégrante d'un achat unique, sont fournis par un seul fabricant.
Le présent document s'applique aux lanterneaux avec un ou plusieurs panneaux translucides.
Les lanterneaux ponctuels en matière plastique peuvent s'ouvrir au moyen de dispositifs d'ouverture en une ou plusieurs parties pour la ventilation.
Les éventuelles fonctions supplémentaires de ventilation naturelle quotidienne, d'évacuation des fumées et de la chaleur, par exemple en cas d'incendie, conformément à l'EN 12101 2 et d'accès à la toiture, ne relèvent pas du domaine d'application du présent document.
Le présent document ne s'applique pas :
   aux « Lanterneaux ponctuels en verre » d'après le prEN 1873 2 ;
   aux « Lanterneaux continus en matière plastique » d'après le prEN 14963 1 et aux « Lanterneaux continus en verre » d'après le prEN 14963-2 ;
   aux « Fenêtres de toit » d'après l’EN 14351 1.
NOTE   Une liste indicative des dispositions pour une application, une utilisation et une maintenance correctes des lanterneaux ponctuels en matière plastique est présentée en Annexe A.
