Bituminous mixtures - Material specifications - Part 5: Stone Mastic Asphalt
This European Standard specifies requirements for mixtures of the mix group Stone Mastic Asphalt for use on roads, airfields and other trafficked areas. Stone Mastic Asphalt is mainly to be used for surface courses. Stone Mastic Asphalt can also be used for regulating and binder courses.
The mixtures of the mix group Stone Mastic Asphalt are produced on the basis of hot bitumen. Mixtures utilizing bitumen emulsion and bituminous materials based on in situ recycling are not covered by this standard.
This European Standard includes requirements for the selection of the constituent materials. It is designed to be read in conjunction with EN 13108-20 and EN 13108-21.
Asphaltmischgut - Mischgutanforderungen - Teil 5: Splittmastixasphalt
Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an Mischgüter der Asphaltmischgutgruppe Splittmastixasphalt fest, die für die Verwendung beim Bau von Straßen, Flugplätzen und sonstigen Verkehrsflächen bestimmt sind. Splittmastixasphalt wird vorwiegend für Deckschichten verwendet. Splittmastixasphalt kann aber auch für Ausgleichsschichten und Binderschichten eingesetzt werden.
Die Mischgüter der Mischgutgruppe Splittmastixasphalt werden auf Basis von heißem Bitumen hergestellt. Mischgüter, die Bitumenemulsionen und bitumenhaltige Materialien auf der Basis der Wiederverwertung vor Ort enthalten, werden durch diese Norm nicht abgedeckt.
Diese Europäische Norm enthält Anforderungen an die Auswahl der Baustoffe. Sie ist in Verbindung mit FprEN 13108-20 und FprEN 13108-21 anzuwenden.

Cette norme européenne spécifie les exigences relatives aux mélanges appartenant à la famille des SMA et utilisés pour les routes, les aéroports et les autres zones de circulation.
Cette Norme européenne comporte des exigences pour la sélection des divers constituants. Elle est destinée à être utilisée conjointement avec le prEN 13108-20 et le prEN 13108-21.

Standard SIST EN 13108-5 (sl), Bitumenske zmesi – Specifikacije materialov – 5. del: Drobir z
bitumenskim mastiksom, 2016, ima status slovenskega standarda in je istoveten evropskemu standardu
EN 13108-5 (en, de, fr), Bituminous mixtures – Material specifications – Part 5: Stone Mastic Asphalt,
2016.
Ta standard nadomešča SIST EN 13108-5:2006 in SIST EN 13108-5:2006/AC:2008.
NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR
Evropski standard EN 13108-5:2016 je pripravil tehnični odbor Evropskega komiteja za standardizacijo
CEN/TC 227 Materiali za ceste. Slovenski standard SIST EN 13108-5:2016 je prevod evropskega
standarda EN 13108-5:2016. V primeru spora glede besedila slovenskega prevoda v tem standardu je
odločilen izvirni evropski standard v enem izmed treh uradnih jezikov CEN. Slovensko izdajo standarda
je pripravil tehnični odbor SIST/TC CES Ceste.
Odločitev za privzem tega standarda je dne 2. novembra 2016 sprejel SIST/TC CES Ceste.
